working at the flower shop, he gained quite a few looks from people who noticed his bandaged knuckles. the man last night had convinced him. cameron felt this giant need to continue punching so at 4:00 am that morning he had went ahead and met the man. he punched until his muscles cried and he could feel the blood falling down his hands. at 7:00 am he found his way back and wrapped his hands himself. He was exhausted. the shop owner was worried. cameron found the owner to be very interesting. instead of being afraid that he would make the customers go away, she was afraid for his sake.
"your hands, how did they get in such bad shape?" she had worriedly asked on their lunch break.
to which he replied "I go to the gym" he wasn't lying. after all, it was a true statement. she nodded. then went silent once more. at the end of the day, they closed early with it being a saturday. cameron left, changed into a maroon sweat shirt and jeans and headed to the spot in the woods. he tested his memory of the path and wound up maybe twenty feet from the spot he was the first time. he saw a girl waiting in the spot, though. he crouched to make his way over. once he got close enough, he saw it was not just a girl. it was the girl he'd met.
"grace," he spoke and sat down next to her. she jumped in fright. grace hadn't seen him all day and as soon as she did, it was the way it had been the first time. she fell in love with his features. she fell in love with the mystery before her with the perfect brown hair and eyes.
