"Momma do we have to move?"
"Shawn this yo 4th time asking me that. Yes, we have to move. I like this job and I intend on keeping it. It's something I like to do and it pays really well."
"I understand of that momma but it's just that I don't wanna leave."
"Sorry Shawn but leaving yall here in Queens ain't a choice in my mind. Now can you go make sure Ty is almost done packing?"
"Ok- wait why is he packing?"
"Wait you for real ma about Ty coming with us?"
"Yes I am Shawn. Oh and don't worry about checking on Ty, Stacey just texted me saying that he's done and the movers are putting his things in the truck."
"You never told me where we are moving?"
"Houston; the job gave a house with 6 bedrooms and bathrooms, a pool, basketball court, and a game room. We have an attic which I turn into an emergency/ panic room and then we have a basement that I will probably let you and Ty turn into a studio.
"Oh that sounds cool mamma but what school is Ty and me going to? Please tell me it's HSPVA....."
"Actually it is yall both got accepted there."
"Yes I been keeping tabs on them for the longest."
"Yea I know you have been. Now gon head to bed we got a long drive ahead of us from the Queens to Houston."
"Aight mamma, I'll see you in the morning."
"Okay baby, good night."
Damn now I really wanna move. Just moving to an upper class house like that is something every hood nigga dreams of. Granted, I've only been in Houston for family functions but I never thought we would actually move there. Well let me take my black ass to sleep. From Brooklyn to Houston is a time way from here.
