A WRITER'S DREAM

i want people to see my words, and understand

that they come from the deepest parts of my

mind, where the flowers don't grow anymore,

despite the constant presence of rain

i want people to see my words, and know that

they are not alone

beautiful of a concept writing is, how my

thoughts are spilling from my brain, trailing

down to my neck and through the veins in my

arms until they reach my fingertips

moment, feel what it's like to be the

cogitation barreling inside my brain

i want people to see my words, and be able to

taste them on their tongue, bitter or sweet

i want people to see my words, and "wow" out

loud as their eyes go wide

i want people to see my words, and gape in awe

at how amazing it is that a mere 26 letters can

be strung together to create such a

mesmerizing combination of literature

i want people to see my words, and for their

heartbeat to quicken, for their lungs to miss

a breath, for their mind to clutter, for their

emotions to become tangible
