**Vic's POV**
A few quiet days went by that hardly anything happened. The block of soap in the bathroom would be in a different spot sometimes. Same thing for the TV remote. And sometimes I'd find stacks of paper with vague scribbling on them. But that was all. Still though, it didn't satisfy my nerves.
It needed to stop.
The next morning I had called a good friend of mine to come over and check up on the place. Just to make sure that I hadn't completely gone insane.
"So let's sum it up here, shall we?" Jaime started. "Music of which you believe you don't own started playing on your laptop... The TV switched on, completely on its own, because it can totally do that... Things were moved into cupboards, and you totally did not do that yourself... And you saw a face in a mirror after hardly sleeping for how many days again?" He sounded more cynical and skeptical than anything.
I sighed deeply. "And it smacked my ass." I added in a dark mutter.
"Oh right, you have a ghost in your house that likes to sexually assault its habitants. Lucky you." Jaime then said in a mocking tone as he grinned from ear to ear.
I buried my face into my hands. I kinda figured as much that Jaime would think that I was crazy. Sure to him it all sounded like I was just exhausted or drunk or something, but this was real. This was all really happening.
"You're not taking me seriously."
Jaime simply laughed at me. "Dude, you are talking about a ghost here, what am I supposed to do? Tell you that I'll call up my crazy gypsy cousin and hold a séance?"
My eyes widened. And it was as if a light bulb just flashed on above my head. "Yes!" I exclaimed. "That is exactly what we're going to do!"
"Oh dear god, Vic, you've got to be kidding me."
But I wasn't kidding, not one bit. I thought this was the perfect way to find out who or what was still wandering here. And it was probably the only way that I could prove that I wasn't actually crazy.
Then again, just the idea of a séance was already pretty crazy.
