**Vic's POV**
"Hey Vic, wake up." A vaguely familiar voice echoed through my head. It was hard to concentrate on whom it was though, my head felt like it was going to explode. And the rest of my body felt so weird too. "Victor Vincent Fuentes, either you wake up right now or I swear I'll—"
That's when I finally managed to open my eyes, only to see literally the last person I expected to see ever again.
"Tony?!" I exclaimed incredulously as I quickly sat up.
"Ah, there we go." He said, a soft smile taking over his face.
I was officially beyond confused. What was Tony doing here? How was he even here to begin with? And where was I, for that matter?
"Are you okay?" Tony then asked me, giving me a concerned look. "What's the last thing you remember?"
I frowned, rubbing my hands over my face as pieces of my memory flashed before my eyes. "I remember being with Jaime... and... he was performing a ritual to... ah fuck, my head hurts so much." I complained, failing to concentrate. But then it hit me. My hands dropped to my lap and my eyes widened. "Kellin." I choked.
Where was Kellin?
"Kellin?" Tony then questioned me.
"Ye-yeah, he's uh—" Oh hell, how was I ever going to explain this? Did I dream everything? Did I get seriously fucked up on some crazy party drugs and hallucinate all of it?
Tony chuckled lightheartedly. "I know who Kellin is, don't worry Vic, I understand."
I frowned questioningly. "Wait, you do?"
"Yeah, I mean come on, I died... I was happy to see that you had moved on. Surely I didn't expect that it would be with a dead guy, but whatever works, you know?"
I was about to say something, but I couldn't quite find the words, so my mouth just fell open, staring at Tony silently for a while. "S-so I'm dead?" I finally managed to ask the inevitable, after a very long moment of silence that even Tony didn't break.
Which was how I remembered him, honestly.
Tony chuckled though, like he was amused with the fact that I still hadn't figured it out. "I always thought that I was the slow one." He started. "But yeah, you're dead."
That's when I finally looked around me. I was in a garden, but it looked strange, the colors were brighter than what I was used to. And I was lying on a bed that stood in the middle of a big, white gazebo. I didn't recognize the place at all. "Um, where am I though?"
Tony looked around him, smiling contently. "Nowhere in particular. This is just the figment of my imagination... or my own personal Heaven I suppose you could call it."
"Heaven?" I questioned. No way. Wasn't I supposed to be stuck wherever death had killed me or something like that?
"Well, not exactly. I mean, I haven't met God or whatever, if that's what you mean. You can just make this place into whatever you want it to be. You can go wherever you want. It's pretty peaceful too." He seemed so content. Even when he was still alive, I hadn't seen him like that in months. "I'm happy here, Vic. Though... I am really sorry that you had to find me the way you did. That was horrible of me."
I shrugged lightly. "I guess I understand."
Tony then looked at me again and smiled, reaching his hand out to me. "Let's go fetch your new boyfriend." He said genuinely. "He's been seriously freaking out over where you are. The kid is so upset; he doesn't even realize that he's no longer stuck down there. I would've brought you to him, but you were unconscious and all. "
I finally smiled a little. "Thanks, Tony."
I then grabbed his hand, and before I knew it, we were in front of my house. Jaime's car was no longer there, and there was yellow crime scene tape on the front door. I hurriedly ran up to it, attempting to rip the tape off the door, but I couldn't grab it.
"Yeah, you can't do that yet, it takes a while." Tony said apologetically, before he came up beside me and got rid of the tape and opened the door for me.
I muttered a quick thank you and quickly ran inside into the living room, where I immediately spotted Kellin sitting on the floor, hunched over and his knees to his chest.
"Kell?" I carefully called out to him.
His head instantly shot up. His eyes red and face wet with tears. "Vic?" He choked out in pure disbelief.
I nodded and let myself fall down onto my knees in front of him, firmly wrapping my arms around his shoulders and pressing him against my chest. "God, I'm so glad to see you, Kellin." I whispered into his hair, kissing the top of his head right after.
He started crying all over again as he wrapped his arms around me too. "You're dead, I'm so sorry. You shouldn't be dead. It's all my fault." He cried out, sobbing almost violently.
I slowly ran my hand up and down his back soothingly, hushing him gently as I held him close. "Nothing's your fault, Kell. Yeah, I'm dead, but it's fine." I told him in all honesty.
He pushed himself back a little, quickly wiping most of his tears away before looking at me. "How is it fine?" He asked, not understanding at all.
I smiled at him. God even when he was distressed beyond belief he still looked beautiful to me. "It's fine because I get to be with you." I simply explained to him. "The ritual worked, so we're free now. We get to do whatever we want, and we can do it all together. I love you, Kellin."
More tears spilled from Kellin's eyes, but this time, he smiled. The smile that lit up my entire world. "I love you too, Vic." He simply responded before finally crashing his lips to mine.
I may have ended up dead anyways, but I had long accepted that. I was just beyond happy that I could be with Kellin. I really could not have wished for anything more than to have him by my side for the rest of our immortal existence.
