Maxon/America After the selection

Family Part 5

We walked to the table were the king and queen were sitting. Once we got there we hugged the king and queen and sat down.
" Hello Queen Grace. How are you today?" I asked.
" Well Queen America I am well. How are you and your new kids?"
" We are very well." I said with a smile. Maxon was talking with the king already. I turned my head back to grace and talked for a little till the food got to the table.

It had been a week after are trip and Maxon and I were back to work. Before we left me and princess lily had a girls day. It was nice I already miss her. Maxon and I got a new adviser named kelly. I fell like I know her from somewhere I just can't put my finger on it. I was walking to the women's room when I bumped into someone. It was jelly.
" Oh Queen America! I am so sorry!" That's when it hit me! Kelly! My best friend from 10 years ago! When I looked in her eye I could see the same girl I told everything to. She has dark brown hair and brown eyes.
" Kelly!! Is that you?" I asked to see if it was really her. She looked at me for a second before it clicked in her mind. Her eye grew huge and she than hugged me. I was taken away but a second later I hugged back.
" Oh America its you! I missed you so much."
Kelly had moved away 10 years ago. I was so sad to see her go. My mother told me that they got a better job somewhere else and had to go. Her family were fives like mine. But I guess that now the castes are gone she is doing what she loves now.
" Look at you Kelly! You are so pretty and so successful."
" Look at you! Queen of illea! I still can't believe that my best friend America is Queen!" After that me and Kelly went to the woman's room and talked for hours. Marlee walked in while we were talking and we all sat there just talking about anything and everything. Soon we had to get back to work. I wish we could have
talked longer but worked called us. I was just happy to have my best friend back!
