Pepe headed over to Lord Doge's fortress. There was a meeting of the danks that day. Everyone was going, even Queen Nyan Cat.
The cat was banned from most meetings, for fear of a cat-doge emerging. Nobody would be able to control this immense power.
Pepe sat next to Sanik. Their dank glow was still strong and musty, like something scraped off of an unfinished basement wall. It was an odd kind of beauty, something you admired from a distance.
Lord Doge called for order. His elegant barking was translated into comic sans words around him.

The memes lowered their eyes. Every meeting, one pair of dank memes were split apart. Pepe and Sanik snuck each other a look. They knew it would be them.
Lord Doge and Nyan Cat held hands. Well, the best they could. we r getting married!!! much excite!!!
Gasps rang around the meeting table. Smiles were quickly forced onto faces.

Pepe and Sanik hid their triumphant grins. Now they could be with their true loves. Pepe raised his sad eyes to Sanik. "Can we have one last kiss?"
Sanik licked his lips. It wasn't a seductive one. It was one that cleaned the weed scented saliva off his permanently cracked lips. Sanik was not looking forward to having to touch Pepe's disgusting frog mouth.
They kissed and that was the end.
