Chapter 5- Lilys pov
I watched as he walked into the room, looking cocky as ever. He was laughing to himself as he walked in, it made me wonder what he was laughing at. He greeted the teacher as he walked in ( she just grunted back at him before turning back to the board).
I could hear girls in the class, sighing as he walked past them looking for a empty space, i turned and saw the empty space beside me and sighed thinking
"God, Please Help Me"
He walked up to the space and sat down, i tried concentrating on the Mrs Hitch as she started talking thats when i heard a voice beside me speak,
" Hi Lily, How you Doing? "
I chose to ignore him but he was persistent and began poking me, he was being really annoying today what had got into him?, i wondered. Finally he stopped, but then began humming lightly, (omg hes so annoying). He continued for 10 minutes before i snapped,
" Would you please stop that?!!"
He smirked to himself, oh my he was trying to get my attention, he turned to face me before saying,
" I enjoyed talking to you this morning, even if it was brief"
I thought back to this morning, i couldnt disagree with him it was nice to talk to him this morning in the diner but then i remembered what happened when he arrived at school with Jessica. Upset with him i replied
" Yeah it was, but it wont happen again"
With that i turned away and continued listening to what Mrs Hitch was talking about when i heard him mutter to himself
" We will see about that"
I sat there shocked by that last comment, but then Mrs Hitch spoke louder, mentioning something about pairing up for an assignment, she began rolling names off her list i prayed and prayed to myself

Before she spoke
"Lily and Chase"
Shocked i sighed thinking this is the worst day today whilst Chase sat there smiling to himself. Mrs Hitch continues talking about the assignment she had given us and i got the gist, we had to get to know each other more and write up our final thoughts on the other person before we had to present it back to the rest of the class.
I sat thinking great i have to spend more time around the idiot Chase Mason and not only that but get to know him more. Parts of me thanked her as this was the greatest moment and assignment she has ever given i've always wanted to get to know Chase but lately he was too annoying i would give that up in a heartbeat.
Mrs Hitch handed out worksheets with instructions to what we had to do on them just before the bell rang for the end of the lesson thats when i heard him speak,
" See you later, Partner" , with this he exited the room as i gathered up my stuff i could hear whispers from the other girls in the class
He would of been better off with me as a partner
Who would want to get to know the loser, theres not much to know about her
The last one shocked me
BITCH!!!
I sighed, hurt by there comments, as i walked out of the classroom i thought to myself stuff them, ill prove them wrong and be the best partner that Chase has ever had, ill have them eating their words.
With that i continured walking to my next lesson, this assignment is going to be the best thing that ever happen and on the plus side i get to spend more time with the boy i had the biggest crush on.
