Chapter 2- Lilys pov
Throughout the other lessons i just couldnt really concentrate.
Lily, Lily, LILY!!!, I could hear this voice in my head or was it?, i turned to see my friends Savannah and Katie staring at me with blank looks on their faces.
" Whats up guys", i asked quietly, not sure of what was wrong.
" The bells just gone, are you coming for something to eat in the cafeteria, its just the guys are waiting for us and we are starving", Savannah said.
I stood up from behind my chair and grabbed my bag, i turned to them and said " Yeah, im coming guys" and with that i exited the room.
Walking to the cafeteria was quiet, i secretly knew the girls were waiting to bombard me with questions due to my strange behaviour. We entered the noisy cafeteria and saw both Luke and Damien sat at our table waiting patiently for us to arrive, as we headed closer we could see that they were both engaged in conversation, but as we grew closer they noticed their girlfriends and stood to kiss them both. How i wished i could have that with comeone special.
As we sat down, i could see the girls both itching to ask me what was up so i beat them to it and said
" What you want to know ?"
They both looked at me puzzled and then Katie spoke up and said
" Whats with the spaced out look, you havent been concentrating all day"
I blushed thinking should i tell them or should i leave it for them to figure out themselves and before i could speak Savannah spoke,
" It hasnt got anything to do with Chase Mason being in your English Class would it" ?
I blushed a bit more and again before i could speak another voice spoke up,
" We al know that you have the biggest crush on him", i looked up to see it was Luke who had said it. My friends knew me too well and i smiled up at him forcing him to smile back.After we had finished eating, there was only 2 lessons left before i could leave this dreaded place.
During my last class, GYM!!, i recieved a text from Savannah saying that she and Luke couldnt give me a lift home, a little sad i replied
Its Fine, Got it covered :) L
When that sent i scrolled through my contacts and rang my mum but she didnt answer, i thought to myself shes probaly still at work. I decided to text her and she quickly replied saying
Might be a bit late but i will be there xx M
I sighed and changed from my gym clothes back into my normal clothes, glad that lesson was over with, i really hate GYM. As i walked from the GYM i was mindlessly thinking to myself and i suddenly bumped into someones hard back, looking up i saw that it was no other than Chase Mason, he turned around to face me and glared at me
" watch where you going", he mutter only low enough for me to hear and with that i shyly walked around him to sit on the bench and wait for my mother to turn up.
An hour later, she was still nowhere to be seen i pulled my phone out of my pocket and began to text her when a voice spoke behind me.
"Whatcha still doing here"
I turned my head to see Chase Mason stood there staring at me with those big green eyes.
" Waiting for my mum to pick me up, but it doesnt look like shes coming anytime soon"
" Well...im going your way would you like me to give you a lift"
I sat there for a minute contemplating should i go with him or should i stay and before i could reply he started walking away from me, i ran after him shouting
" Wait, if that lifts still there, ill take it"
He smiled at me then led me towards his car, opening the door for me to get inside. The journey to my house was quiet apart for him asking when to turn. As we pulled into my driveway and the car came to a halt, i turned to him and said
" Thank you for the lift, it was starting to get cold out there and i was starting to get bored"
"It was no problem, i dont mind giving a pretty girl a ride home"
i sat there shocked before i spoke again,
" Well i guess i should get going, Thanks again" and with that i exited his car and headed towards my front door when a voice shouted to me
" See you tomorrow, Beautiful" and with that his car pulled away from my house and down the street as i stepped inside the house i replayed the whole scenerio in my head and a big smile came across my face.
School tomorrow is going to be even better, i thought to myself.
