Chapter 6- Chases pov
The rest of the day went past a blur, i didnt really pay attention to anything that was going on. When the bell finally went signallying the end of the day i felt relieved that it was finally over.
Heading out to the car park, i saw her waiting with her friends Savannah (i think shes called) so i decided it was now or never to approach her.
"Lily ?"
She turned to face me whilst Savannah stood there shocked that i was even talking talking to her.
"Chase" , she replied coldy.
Had i done something to annoy or upset her,
" Would you like a lift home, i thought we could start the English Assignment that Mrs H set ? "
She stood there quietly with her mouth open a little, here comes my answer i thought but before she could speak Savannah spoke for her,
" She would love too"
I turned to look at Lily who stood there gobsmacked and confused about what had just happened,
" Great"
I began walking towards my car whilst i could here her yelling at Savannah, ill guess that was about me.
Minutes later she reached my car, as she got inside i asked her,
" Your house or mine? "
" We can go to mine my parents arnt home" I smiled when i heard that last sentence come out of her mouth.
" Dont even think what i know your thinking, we are just doing the assignment "
I nodded my head and slowly pulled into her driveway, i cut the engine and set out of the car she was already heading towards the door, i jogged to catch her up. Once inside we placed our stuff on the table in the dining room before she headed off towards the kitchen, she pulled out a can of coke before turning to me,
" Want one? "
"Sure, Thanks "
we took our drinks and headed into the dining room, we took out our notebooks and thats when the questioning started
" Full Name?"
"Chase James Mason "
I asked her the same question she replied,
" Lily Elizabeth Anderson"
After about 2 hours we had nearly finished with all the questions some of them were quite funny, i found out that her first crush and kiss had been with a boy in our year named Charlie and her current crush was a boy i had never heard of. I looked down at my sheet and saw the last question Something that noone knows about you this one was easy for me to answer but i couldnt tell her now that would ruin what i was working towards so i turned to her and said,
" I think we should do the last one ourselves when we have to write this all in our reports, that way it will be a secret for both of us and the rest of the class"
She looked puzzled and but spoke seconds later
" Yeah, thats sound like a great idea"
I sighed pleased with her answer, when she looked at her phone for the time, she saw it was nearly 6. Well i thought to myself i best be going. I paccked up my stuff before turning to her,
" Well, I best get off my mum will be wondering where i am? "
" Oh okay, well this has been fun, it was great getting to know you Chase James Mason"
I smiled I loved the way my name sounded coming from her. She walked me to the front door opening it for me, i turned to face her and leaned it to kiss her on the cheek,
" Thanks, see you at school tomorrow" and with that i left and walked towards my car, with the biggest smile on my face, i got in and reveresed out of her driveway, driving happily towards my house, this is the best night of my life and also thinking to myself,
