Chapter 7
Lilys pov
After he left I closed the door and walked into the dining room were we have just been working. I looked down at the questions he had answered and it felt like I already knew him, jus then I heard the front door closed, I guess my mums home.
"Lily"
I walked into the kitchen
"Yeah' what's up mum"
"Oh nothing, have you eaten yet?"
"Nah I've been working on an assignment for English"
"Okay, I'll cook us something now"
An hour later I put mine and mums plates in the dishwasher and walked into the front room where my mum was,
"How's school going"
"Oh its great, I think this year is going to be the best yet"
"Well I'm glad your enjoying it, have you made any new friends?"
"Yeah, I got partnered up with Chase for this English Assignment"
"Oh a boy, do you like him?"
"Yeah a boy and no we are just friends"
Well I couldn't tell her the truth just yet.
"Okay hunnie"
"Well I'm going to have a shower and then go to bed, got to be up early got a shift at tje diner tomorrow morning"
"Okay sweetie, Goodnight"
I walked up to my room and stepped into the shower room' 30 minutes later I stepped out dryed myself off and dressed into sweats and climbed into bed. I layed awake for what seemed ages thinking about the afternoon I spent with Chase.
After a while I finally fell asleep, the next thing i knew my alarm was beeping loudly, I pulled back the covers and stretched (god it was too early, it was only half 5). I quickly dressedinto my work uniform and headed downstairs I grabbed my school stuff placing it into my bag aswell as my change of clothes for school. As I waited for Leah my lift to the diner, she was 21 and worked at the diner for spare money, she was saving up to leave this place.
BEEP! BEEP!
She's here, I grabbed my stuff and headed out the front door towards her car. I jumped inside and she started driving towards the diner we would be there into 10 minutes. On the way there I wondered if Chase would come in this morning and smiled to myself.
"Lily, what you smiling about"
"Nothing" my voiced cracked, she knew I was lying.
"You arnt thinking about that boy you were talking to the other day, the one you have tjat crush on"
"Maybe, I was just wondering it he was going to come into today"
She smiled and as we pulled into the diners carpark I was telling her everything that had happened with him since the other day.
"Well that's great for you, I mean its helping you to get closer to him".
"Yeah I love it"
"Well come on, we have work to door" and with that she grabbed my arm and dragged me inside the diner, roll on 8 so I can go to school.
