Found my mate, in a zombie apocalypse!(Warning~Slow Updates,bear with me)

Who let the zombies in?

I quickly check to see how many were on my side of the room, there were about twenty on my side. After doing that I grabbed whatever sharp object I could find. I started walking and stabbed one in the head, another one came from behind and I turned stabbing it in the head. I suddenly realized that we were at McDonalds, were they cook the food, they probably had some knifes around here somewhere. I mind linked Nick telling him to cover me, while I went and got us some knifes. I ran quickly to the kitchen, using some of my vampire speed.

When I got close to the counter I did a flip and stabbed a zombie in the head and landed on my feet on the other side of the counter. One of the workers was sitting there eating a customer. There was blood splattered everywhere on the kitchen walls, gross. I know a vampire says gross to blood; well I don't really need blood to survive only when really needed. Anyways I grab the object closes to me which was the cash register. The hungry zombie looked up suddenly startled to see me. I threw the register at his head and the zombie fell back.

I ran to get the register again and once again threw it again but this time with so much force the zombies head fell off. I averted my eyes and started scanning the kitchen. I looked through the drawers and cabinets and finally found the knifes. I grabbed as many as possible and ran to help Nick out.

"Nick catch!" I said turning and throwing two knifes at Nick which he skillfully caught and used to cut the zombies head of. I started stabbing any zombie that came at me.My wolf side was getting mad that I wouldn't let her out to kill these flesh eating monsters.

"Roxy! Calm down there are humans around we can’t expose our kind to them." I said to my wolf Roxy in my head.

"Sorry Rosy, I just can’t help it. They are hurting people. They already scared everyone, including our queen. I am just worried, about you and her and everyone.” She growled to me, but obeying she started calming down.

"Don’t worry about mother, Nat and Cassy will protect her, and I will be fine I have you and all my other powers." I said understanding she wanted to protect me and our queen.

"I hope you are right, and we are able to get her out" Roxy said to me.

“I will protect our queen no matter what and we will be fine promise" I said to Roxy. It’s not that she was worried about something happening to me, we were the most powerful in the world. But my mother was not feeling well these past days and if she dies so do all her people in the Water Fae clan. Her death would also affect my father for losing his mate and he would eventually die, the kingdom would crumble without a king. I would not be able to take over until I found my mate.
