"Nick I’m okay you know I heal fast right?" I said to Nick will he tried taking me, no dragging me, to get my wounds check out.

"Yeah I know because I am a hybrid too, but still I am your Protector. I was born to protect you and I let you get harmed Roslyn.You are also my mate, well second mate and I care about you a lot. I can’t lose you even though I know you have a mate but I care about you, you are like a sister to me and you are also my best friend." Nick said with sincerity and vulnerability in his eyes, something I didn't see often because from a young age we were all taught not to show weakness.

"I love you too kid, your my best friend too but really I'm okay. Now we should be worrying more about Alex than me where is he?" I said looking around for my mate and noticing he was with some kind of pack doctor young girl who looked around my age, she was very pretty she had neon blue and grey eyes and midnight black straight hair. At first I was jealous because she was touching my mate. But then I realized she must be his pack doctor though she looked to be very young.

"Nick, there he is, with that really pretty girl now come on and let’s go say hi." I said dragging Nick over to the girl catching him off guard.

"Hi I'm Princess Roslyn and this duffus is my best friend and Protector Nick." I said extending my hand to shake the pretty girls.

"Hello I'm Sara Angel Black, I am the pack doctor and Alex cousin." She said and then turning to Nick her eyes widened.

Nick and Sara kept looking at each other lost in each other’s eyes when suddenly Nick said the one word we had all been waiting to hear "Mate"

Alex and I both looked at Nick and then Sara as Nick grabbed her by the waist and buried his nose into her neck breathing in her scent.

"Wow looks like my dear cousin has finally found her mate." Alex said putting his arm around my waist and pulling me close to him.

"Haha yes I finally get rid of that pest he won’t ever leave me alone. I hope you can control him Sara." I said with a smirk.

"Hey! That's not nice Roslyn I am so not a pest. You know you love me." Nick said giving me a cocky look.

"You wish I liked you kiddo now run along and show your sister your mate. Cause if you don't tell her you found your mate there will be some butt kicked today and it’s not going to be the zombies." I said waving him off.
