Kirstie's POV
"Scott stop!" I giggled as Scott kept tickling me, "you know I hate it when you do this." He laughed and got up.

"Well you looked sad so I felt like making you happy again," I smiled and looked at him, "you are okay right?" He asked. I nodded my head with a small smile. Life was good I'll tell you that. But something felt missing. I just didn't want to think about it right now.

"We should do something today," I said checking my phone for ideas, "ooh we should go explore the city. Maybe do some shopping, eat out, the whole thing!" Scott laughed at my excitement and nodded in agreement.

"Sounds perfect!" he said hugging me, "let me get my wallet and stuff and than we can hang out." I released from the hug and went out to my car. Ever since I graduated high school my parents have not stopped shutting up about where I should go for university. I'm taking a year off you see. I need to figure my adulthood out before I start school again. So far I have an apartment all to myself, a cute little husky named Olaf, but yet I don't have anyone to share my apartment with. Scott is still living with his parents because quote, "he's too young to live by himself."

"C'mon Kirst lets go!" Scott shouted excitedly as we climbed into my car. I giggled and started the engine.

"Where to first?" I asked as we drove farther away from the apartment building.

"I say we head to downtown, do some shopping, than head off to this fantastic Italian restaurant for dinner." I nodded, smiling widely.

"Sounds perfect." It took about ten minutes for us to be engulfed in buildings and shopping centres. We decided to eat first because we both wanted to shop on a full stomach.

"Plus the city lights look amazing at night." Scott gleamed as we pulled up to the restaurant. As we were eating Scott decided to bring the topic about Mitch up.

"Kirst are you okay? You've seen, I don't know, a little off lately. Is it because of Mitch?" I shrugged and played with my food.

"Ive been trying not to think about him. It just bothers me that he just disappeared just like that. And I never got a proper goodbye, same with you." He nodded as he took a bite.

"I don't think I would ever get so proper goodbye from him. But Kirst, why do you think he left camp?" This is when I tensed up. He left camp because of you Scott. I sighed and shrugged yet again.

"Something about his mom. I can't quite remember it," Scott nodded his head. I never lie to Scott, but this time I had to, at least before he blames everything on me.

"Well I saw him last week. He came to pack his stuff up. He said he was moving in with his mom because there was too much drama and he wanted his mom back. Too much drama? Seriously?" I rolled my eyes when Scott wasn't looking.

"Scott you were kind of rude to him, don't you think?" Scott looked at me confused.

"I don't know what you're talking about. I was very kind to him." I shook my head.

"Scott you didn't let him sit with us, you were also smack talking him a lot," Scott avoided eye contact with me.

Whatever. Can we just drop it?" I nodded and continued eating. Soon everything returned back to normal and we were laughing in no time. We soon paid for the bill and headed out to do some shopping.

"I absolutely have to go to acne studios!" I giggled as I followed him into the store. As we left I decided to tease him.

"I swear you bought the whole store!" Scott laughed.

"That's me!" We both giggled. Soon Scott decided to head to another store and decided to try something on.

"I'll be right out," he said, "meet me outside." I nodded and decided to look at a nearby store. I took out my phone as I was walking, not even noticing that I was about to bump into someone. We crashed to the ground and I shook myself. The stranger put their hand out for me and I gladly took it.

"I'm so sorry I was ju-" I than saw the face and screamed, "Mitch?"
