Mitch's POV
Kirstie was very committed to her idea about the children's hospital... And so was I. And I had the perfect duet for it. I'd been working on it ever since camp and I was hoping to audition with Kirstie with that song.

"I'm here Mitch!" Kirstie called as she entered my house. I smiled and opened my once closed door.

"Come right upstairs!" I yelled back. Soon I heard footsteps coming up the stairs and Kirstie emerged into my room. She kissed my cheek and sat down next to me. I smiled again and opened my laptop.

"I have the perfect song," I said getting straight to business. Kirstie giggled and nodded.

"Okay go right ahead Mr. Eager," I rolled my eyes and opened up the sheet music. Kirstie read over the lyrics for what seemed like forever than finally shook her head vigorously. "It's amazing! And I know it's about me," I blushed and kissed her.

"When isn't it all about you?" She smacked my arm playfully and I laughed. We than started singing it and getting a feel for it. And let me tell you, it was amazing. We sang in perfect harmony and a every note and beat seemed to flow perfectly together. When we finished it we both cheered excitedly like twelve year old girls.

"It is perfect," Kirstie cheered wrapping her arms around me. I chuckled and kissed her.

"Mitch?" My mom called as she entered the house, "are you here?" I got up and opened my door again.

"Yeah I'm home! Oh and Kirstie's over," I yelled hearing my mom giggle. I shrugged to Kirstie and she got up.

"Hello Nel!" She yelled. We than ran downstairs and helped her with the groceries. Once we were done my mom sighed.

"Thanks you guys," she said hugging the both of us, "having no husband is so hard," we all nodded our heads and my mom started dinner. After dinner, and after Kirstie left, my mom sat me down.

"Mitch we have to put some ground rules down. I just can't stop worrying about you," I groaned and leaned back in my chair.

"Fire away mom," I said kind of coldly. My mom chuckled and ruffled my hair.

"I'm sorry Mitch," she said, "I just don't want to loose another important thing to me." I nodded and folded my arms. "Okay rule #1: no leaving the house without telling me. Rule #2: I have to pick you up from school. And rule #3: I have to make sure you take your medication," I groaned again.

"I hate every single one of these except number two. But I'll do it." She smiled and got up.

"Thank you Mitch," she said in relief, "I'm glad you're being responsible," I haven't been responsible in the past?
*next morning*
"C'mon Mitchy wakey wakey!" Kirstie sang making me jolt up in my bed surprised.

"Kirstie!" I groaned, "why? Just why?" She giggled and started taking my body with her eyes.

"Yeah I shouldn't have walked in," I than realized I was just in my boxers... My cheeks went a deep shade of red as I grabbed clothes and threw them on.

"Thats what you get for walking in on me," I said sassily. She laughed and folded her arms.

"Who said I didn't like it?" I yelled ew at least three times making Kirstie almost double over laughing. Once she finished she got up and smoothed her clothes out. "C'mon," she said, "we have a performance to get to," I than followed her out of my house and got into her car.

When we got there the hospital was packed with kids. Some were in wheelchairs, and others were attached to an I.V. I gave them all sympathy looks as I sat down at the piano. I than gave Kirstie a ready look and she smiled back at me before turning to the kids.

"Hello everyone!" she started happily, "my names Kirstie and this is Mitch," I waved to everyone and some of them smiled.

"Today we are going to sing an original song to you," everyone smiled widely as I began playing. I than started singing my heart out.

Let me show you how to love.

Every time I sang that lyrics I glanced happily at Kirstie. Man I really scored. I chuckled just thinking about it.  When we were done everyone that could stand up, stood up. I had the biggest smile on my face. Both because of them, and Kirstie.
