"Heeey!" Bert chuckled.
It was the first day of finally being seniors at Rydell High, probably the most amazing school in all of Venice.
He was holding Ray's lunchbag, which his mother prepared for him: a turkey and cheese sandwich, a granola bar and some potato chips, completely fucking ruined as Bert threw it to Bob, who caught it with ease, squishing the sandwich inside.
"Pass it, pass it!" Bert giggled and caught it when Bob threw it, he jumped back and fell into the bushes, none of the two boys noticing.
"Why the fuck would you eat this? You're supposed to bury it." Bert snickered and Ray rolled his eyes and snatched his lunch.
"Hey, hey, this is a homemade lunch!" He scoffed and held his brown paper bag close to his chest.
Bert threw his hands back and said "Oooh!", sarcastically of course, and Bob jumped up and out of the bushes, laughing along with them.
They all walked a few steps before spotting none other than Pete Wentz, with a cigarette in his mouth, about to punch a prep boy that got into his way.
"Pete! Pete!" The three boys said, waving their hands up.
Pete turned around slowly.
"Ey! Where you been?" Pete said, a serious expression on his face as the boys ran up to him.
"Where were you all Summer?" Bob asked with a smirk, lightly tapping Pete's chest.
"Who are you, my mother?" Pete rolled his eyes and chewed his mint gum noisily.
"I was just asking-"
"I was working, which is more than any of you skits can say."
"Workin?" Bert asked, surprised, because none of the boys had jobs, well, with the exception of Pete, they hadn't worked a day of their lives, too busy with girls and shit.
"That's right, I was luggin' boxes at bargain city, moron." Pete smirked.
"Nice job," Ray smirked and imitated what sounded like an alien, laughing after his statement and looking to Bert.
Pete smacked his arm.
"Fuck off, i'm savin' up to get some wheels." He crossed his arms and nodded slowly, a nod that said 'yeah, that's right'.
"You wanna hear what I did?!" Bob said excitedly, smiling widely at Pete.
Pete's facial expression fell, and he said a strong "No."
Just then, as Pete was about to say something else, Ray saw Frank leaned up against a wall, talking to a girl, with a cigarette in his mouth and a leather jacket on.
"Hey, there's Frank!" Ray started to whistle, jumping up and down.
Frank turned around and smirked.
"How you doin', eh?" Ray smirked and Frank walked over to the 4 boys.
He threw his cigarette to the floor and grinned, walking over to Pete and smirking, saying a "Hey!"
"Hey, you seen those blondes over there?" Pete smirked.
Frank winked and chuckled.
"They're just the same old chicks we flirt with every year." He said and ran a hand through his hair.
"Hey, so uh, what'd you do all Summer, Frank, yeah?" Bert asked and winked.
"I was hangin' around the beach and uh, you know," Frank smirked and all 5 boys whistled.
