WENDY'S POV

My plan has been going well so far.

I've just been pretending to like Stan just to get at him.

Pretending...

I've been really excited to see him!

He's a good listener, unlike Token.

And I can actually talk to him about things.

But I keep telling myself this is fake...This entire thing is fake!

It was after school and I think I have to do something but I can't put my finger on it...

It must not be important, then.

Stan was walking me to the bus and we were just talking about random things that we did when we were younger.

"Wow! I can't believe you, Kyle, Kenny, and Eric have been friends for that long," I say after Stan tells me a story about what they did when they were four.

"Yeah, honestly, they're my ride or die...I don't know what I'd do without them," He says smiling.

His smile is everything.

Everything about him is perfect....

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I ask as he stares at me.

"Sorry, I just noticed how pretty your eyes are, that's all," He blushes which makes me blush as well.

Snap out of it, Wendy! I think to myself.

"Oh -- uh -- I gotta go, bye!" I say and run off.

"Okay!" I hear him say.

STAN'S POV

"I have to do it, I have to tell Wendy I love her," I tell Butters because I already know Kyle and them don't wanna hear this.

"B-But didn't she just get outta relationship with Token?" 

"Well, yeah," I say rubbing the back of my head, "But that's not the point! I know she likes me! I just know it!"

"Fine, what do you want me to do?" He huffs as he crosses his arm.

"WAIT -- YOU'LL DO IT? YOU'LL HELP ME?!" I say excitedly.

"Yeah, you seem very happy, so," He says.

"Oh I am! Don't worry, you won't be disappointed! At our wedding you can be my best man for helping me!" I say.

"GEE! YOU MEAN IT?" He says.

I nod, "Totally!"

WENDY'S POV

I enter my house and plop on my couch, tired.

I was with the girls, giving them updates about what's been going on.

Most of them were lies...

And there's still something I needed to do but I just can't put my finger on it.

My mom enters the living room, "Wendy, Token called you but you weren't here.." 

She hands me the phone and my stomach drops.

Oh, shit. Now I remember....

I quickly dial his number and he answers on the third ring.

"Hello." He answers in an angry tone.

"Oh my god, Token I'm sorry! I didn't know that our anniversary date was today! I was with the girls discussing the take down and--"

"Wait -- the take down was why you missed our date?!" He asks.

"Kind of," I say.

"Since when is Stan getting taken down more important than our relationship, Wendy?!" He says.

"It's not! This is the last time, I swear!"

"Right. I saw you and Stan by the buses, you seemed happy," He says very bluntly.

"What? No! I was acting," I lied.

"Hah," He scoffs, "Then you must be a very good actress, then."

Then he hangs up.

My heart is beating way too fast right now.

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

Guys there was an all day South Park marathon on Comedy Central!

I literally went out of my room a total of three times today, smh.
