-Sky's POV-
In pain and slightly panicked, I traveled slowly to our hospital wing. My head felt like it's been shot with a player's lead bullet gun, and all of my body felt as if it was in fire on spikes. The damage left by the dragon was too intense, and it ached to move. I knocked once, and the door flew open, causing me- leaning on it, to crash into the medic limply. She flailed and grabbed me.
"Sir! Are you alright? Master Skybrine. I beg of you, relax." I'd panicked when the door made me fall, but it was a very delayed, and very regretted reaction. It was painful to move, and the panicked reaction required a ton of movement. The medic gripped my shoulders, and forced me to be still. I gasped from her tight grip on a dislocated shoulder.
She loosened her grip on me, and helped me sit down slowly. She went to work, tightly wrapping up my lower legs and forearms. Not a single bone was left untouched. She wrapped up my ribs, collarbone, arms, legs, even my head. She also relocated my shoulder, and set it with a sling and splint.
She covered my hands with special gloves to help the healing process in the delicate, small bones. I slept in that chair for a while, and felt better when I woke up. But I was told by the medic- "No physical exertion until all the bones heal. Master Skybrine. Please, no rough- housing. It will only serve to hurt you, and slow the process of healing."
I stand up, and I wobble for a moment. The medic steadies me, and I walk out to find Seto. He looks concerned, and tired. "You okay, Sky?" "I'm fine, Seto. Thank you for asking. Just in a bit of pain." "Oh! What happened?"
"Third death due to the dragon. Crushed underfoot by a 3 ton flying creature. Fun, right?" "Ha ha no." "Thought so." "Well, you need help with anything?" "No, I'm fine Seto. Thanks anyway."
I slowly walked upstairs to my room, only to get tackled by Fox. He leaped before the door was half open. Upon seeing him, I shoved the door open, so he wouldn't hit it. He landed heavily in my arms, which hurt terribly. I set him down, and he wagged his long, feathery tail, with the fur hanging off, swaying.
Laying down in bed, Fox once again leaped on me, but was gentler, and laid across my lap. He kept his small puppy head on my chest, watching me with scarily intelligent mismatch eyes. The black and white one bugged me more, because it was a literal reverse of normal. I took his head into my hands, and studied it. It glowed unnaturally, and so did the other one, but it was normal.
I brushed my index finger over his eye, and he yelped. I jumped painfully, not expecting the sound. I gently rubbed my thumb over his jaw, and raised my thumb to the section of his face directly under his eye. I brushed it with my thumb, and he pulled back from me in pain. I held his face, rubbed his jaw, and brushed my hand down his side.
"You're okay, Fox. I'm not trying to hurt you. I'm just curious. I'll stop if you want me to, buddy." He rested his head limply in my hand, giving me permissions to continue. I again, rubbed his jaw, and lifted my thumb to his eye. This time, I brushed directly above his eye. He again, jumped back.
To help him relax about it, I put my hand around his back end, and pulled him up closer to my face. His whole body was on my chest, curled up. His face was inches from mine, and I held it, to help him settle down. I repeated the process with my thumb around the whole outside area of his eye. He yelped and cried every time I brushed somewhere around the abnormal eye.
I did the same with his 'closer to normal' eye, and he didn't budge once. It didn't hurt him. But this backwards one... Oh boy, did it have issues. I gathered Seto to my room a few minutes after my experiment.
"What's up?" "Seto, you see Fox's black eye with the white pupil?" "Yah. Why?" "It's hurting him. And I don't know what it is." "Oh? Well, it looks bad, considering I'd seen a better case of this when I was like, 3?"
"Is it dangerous?" "Well, that depends. Did he attack you when you touched the painful area?" "No." "Then it's not dangerous. If it was, he'd have bitten you. This is a very strange case, because it's on a dog. I've only seen this on people before." "What? You sure?"
"Yep. Never encountered this on a dog." "Then how'd you know he'd bite me?" "The case I've seen, the little girl who had it actually took a knife from the table, and stabbed the person trying to touch her eye. Dangerous activity is present in every species."
"Oh. Fox, c'mere bud." He jumped right up, landing inches from my wrapped forearm. "Now, I know it hurts, Fox, but you need to let me show Seto." He whimpered a moment, then rested his head in my hands once again. I repeated my process all the way around his eye again to show Seto the issue.
"Yeah, so this is something you'd never normally see. It's very rare. But you mostly will see it in the players' creations. One creation a player- Cawthon, recently made, is called an animatronic. They have these reverse eyes, but those are robots. It's meant to be that way."
(Yeah! FNAF refs 5evr!)
"Well, what can we do about it?" "Nothing. As far as I'm concerned, there is no cure for it, only medication to help the pain. But it only hurts when it's touched or brushed." "Okay. Then we need some of that medication." "Sky, another issue. He's a dog. The medication given has chemicals in it that dogs can't have. Give him that medication, and it will certainly be healed, but it will result in a dead dog." "I don't want that..."

-Ty's POV-
For the morning after, I'm very tense, and I don't move much. I spend most of my day on the edge, with my feet dangling over the void. Anthony sits next to me for an hour or two, then goes back to the towers. The dragon has steered clear of me all day, and that's a smart move. I'm pissed off at him today.
He got me trapped here again. His reckless move had gotten me stuck. I'm starting to hate it here. It's so dull and dark now that I've seen the Aether's beautiful colors. It's boring now.
I stare into the void below for the main chunk of the day, legitimately thinking of leaning forward into it. I'm just so taken by the fact that I'm stuck here, I can't handle it. With this in mind, I can hear Anthony behind me, but I tip forward, and tumble into open air. The sound of wings follows me, and I black out as Anthony's arms wrap around me.

-Anthony's POV-
I was just trying to get Tyler away from the edge for a while, and he suddenly just, falls. I take a running leap, and soar down after him. I get my hands around him, and pull up. My wings hold the air, and I pull Tyler back to the island. He'd passed out with the force of me pulling him to a stop from the speed and velocity he'd been falling at.
I laid him down on his tower top, and sat down, waiting for the crystal to take action. It glows brighter, and Tyler woke with a start. He tumbled off the tower, and made an indent in the Endstone below. His voice echoed from the ground. "Ugh. Ouch. Anthony?"
My answer is cut off. By shouting, and the dragon's angry roar. "Get it distracted! I heard something over here! Kill the crystals! Archer, NOW!" The towers' crystals start to disappear. An explosion rocks the island every time a crystal disappears.
Tyler flies back up to me, tensed up and wincing. A player arrow flies past my face, and misses the crystal next to me. But another arrow whizzed past, and hits the crystal. It explodes, and I have to take Tyler into my arms to protect him. His mind hasn't recovered enough from the fall to react properly.
I take my brother to my tower, but the crystal is already gone. I hide him in my room to let him recover, and head back out to help the dragon with the players. "Anthony. They have an archer. Take him out." Okay, easier said than done... This archer has a great aim.
He took out every one of 8 crystals with no more than 12 arrows. Flying around the group, I found the archer easily, with his bow out, an arrow primed to shoot. But he noticed me. "There's something else here! Fall back!" He raised his bow, and tried to aim. He let go of the string, letting the arrow fly.
It sailed high and fast, not giving me time to react or move. It pierced my left wing, and cut through. As the arrow fell back to the island, I spiraled down in pain. "The archer took my wing. I'm out. I can't even get back to Tyler." The dragon growled at my response.
"Damn it. Make your way to Tyler's tower. He made a cave under it years ago. Use it to rest." I didn't get there. I was surrounded by the players within seconds of me touching Endstone. The archer aimed at my chest, the rest with swords pulled. He archer was deadly serious.
"Who are you? What are you? Why are you here?" I spoke English, the same English Tyler taught me a few years ago. "I am Anthony Ellis. A dragon hybrid. I'm stuck here. That answers your questions, right?" The archer lowered his bow. "Yes. It very much does."
A guy with a sword barked, "But you aren't staying here. You're coming back with us when we kill the Enderdragon." "Okay then. Good luck with keeping me in one spot." I was mistaken. The same guy pulled chains from his belt, and took out my legs. "Good hybrid."
I snarled at the comment, but he just smirked. "Don't make me mad. Or you'll pay for it." While the players tried to kill the dragon, I tried to connect with Tyler. I needed to know he was okay. It was important.
"Tyler. You there?" "Yah. What's up?" "The players here have me trapped. Don't come out." "Oh? I feel nauseous, Anthony..." "Why? What's wrong?" "I don't know. Are the crystals gone? Or is there still one?"
"They're all gone, Tyler. I'm starting to feel it too. It's the absence of the crystals." "Anthony?" "What?" "Help?" "What's-" The connection broke.
Tyler was M.I.A., possibly taken out by the players if he'd left the tower. I hoped he had enough common sense to stay hidden. I heard a few pained roars of the dragon, and then a popping sound. Cheering followed close behind. They'd somehow killed the dragon.
The archer returned to me, and dragged me to an alter in the center of the towers. Above the alter center, was an egg. A dragon egg. And they were trying to get it. The act made me angry, and I pressed against the archer with my wings.
My right wing slapped his face, and he backlashed me with an arrow. This'll be fun, I can only assume...
