My muscles were tense and blood trickled down my hands as I stood before the man in the chair. He coughed and spit blood on the floor before dragging air in his lungs.
"Tell me again," I demanded, my patience had wore thin. It had taken hours to get him to spill what he knew, hours of constant beating with no break for either of us.
He shifted back in the seat and stared at me before spitting up more blood.
"We were contacted after we escaped. To infiltrate this club and wait for further instructions." He gasped, tugging on his hands as he doubled over and tried to breathe.
I looked to Bellamy who stood by the door watching the man before us.
"Anything else?" He demanded.
"We haven't gotten anything since being here." He gasped and we both knew he was lying.
"Why come after me?" I demanded as I punched him in the chest. He wheezed and coughed, groaning as he tried to pull air into his lungs.
"Fuck," he cried out as more blood slid out of his mouth.
"I don't know man, it was all Nicoles idea. She said she received a message," he coughed again. I may have punctured his lung with that last punch as he gasped for air.
"I was following orders," he groaned. I turned back towards Bellamy and opened the door. I was tired of this game, I needed to go to the source.
Throwing open the door to her room, caused a startled gasp to rip from her throat. My eyes narrowed into tiny slits as I watched her eyes roam over me.
Blood splatter covered my chest and stomach, smeared blood rested on my chin and dripped down my arms. The knives I held in my hands caused her eyes to widen. Apparently she didn't think we would go to those extreme measures, she didn't know how low my patience was.
"Tell me what I want to know and you won't end up like your friend," my voice was low and growled out causing her to jump.
Her face became a blank mask as she stared at me, almost daring me to prove it. Smirking I moved towards her but paused at the sound of my name.
Turning I saw Claire standing in the doorway with a bucket and wet cloth in her hands. Walking to her, she gently cleaned my face and hands, my eyes never leaving the bitch in the chair. Once she was done, she placed the bucket against the wall before stepping into the room.
"Well, well," she chuckled staring at Nicole. "You think we should have a chat?" She asked as Jace pulled in a chair and sat it in front of Nicole before moving out the door again, I didn't notice him there before.
"I'm not leaving," I growled out leaning against the wall proving my point.
She turned and smirked at me,"never said you had to." I clenched my jaw at the impish look in her eyes before staring coldly at Nicole.
"Oh so your going to take over?" She mocked Claire. "I'm so scared," She continued on sarcastically. "Why don't you let him have a try?" She whispered loudly as she wiggled in the chair suggestively.
"I can tell by the way his eyes never leave mine that he wants me," I curled my lip as she blew a kiss my way. She really was all sorts of demented if she thought I would touch her.
The smack that was delivered echoed in the room, "keep talking shit and this conversation will go differently." Claire's voice came out as a harsh bark. I kept my face blank, as I felt my body stiffen. Damn, that had to be the hottest thing I had ever seen.
Nicole tongued her cheek, before spitting in Claire's face. Claire turned slightly her eyes meeting mine, the glint in her eyes told me that she had prayed Nicoles reaction had been just that.
