"I know its hard for you, its not easy for me. Just think of something else"
"It hurts too bad..." JongUp let heavy round tears roll down his face as his hyund tried to remove the sharp piece of broken glass from his leg.
Himchan continued digging in the flesh trying as hard as possible to be gentle but the object had travelled so deep in. And JongUp had absolutely refused to go to the hospital. Not that he'd listen anyway, the kid was bleeding too hard to not see a doctor. He finally found the piece of glass and got a grip on it.
"JongUp ah" he looked at the sobbing kid "Hyung is gonna pull really hard now and its gonna hurt a lot but be brave okay?"
JongUp nodded and soon cried out when he felt the object finally removed from his body. Himchan quickly wrapped his arms around him and kissed his forehead "Its okay now. Its over, shhh don't cry"
He wrapped JongUp's leg with a cloth and quickly carried him on his back "I'm taking you to the hospital now"
"I don't want to go" JongUp whined.
"I know you're scared but we have to. Don't worry, hyung is here for you"
"I'm sorry"
"For what?"
"Omma is going to be mad at you for not watching me well, its my fault"
"No, I should have been watching you closely"
"I always get you in trouble"

"What do you mean you're leaving? Omma where is Himchan hyung going? Why is he leaving?"
13 year old JongUp sobbed histerically when he sat with his mother and Himchan one night, his hyung announcing that he was leaving their house.
"My mother called. She wants me to come back to Busan, I'm attending college there in the fall"
"Why? Why? You can attend college here too!" JongUp yelled and his mother pulled him in close.
"You have to be understanding sweetie. Himchan is 18 now, he has to go to college"
"He's leaving me! Just like dad left us..."
"Jongie" Himchan looked at him "I promise I'm not leaving you. Its just school" he said "But I promise, I'll come visit whenver I can. And we can call each other, and write each other"
"Who will watch over me?"
"You're a big boy now. You can watch after yourself"
"Hyung.."
"I'm sorry JongUp"

JongUp closed the door of the store making sure everything was locked safely before turning around.
"Wow you've changed so much. You even have a job" Himchan smiled at him and the latter brushed it off.
"Its just a part time thing. I'm in school most of the time"
