*Evangel's POV*

I shot my eyes open.

I think I had a bad dream, can't remember a single thing, though. I got up and saw Lucy, still sleeping soundly. I checked the my digital clock and saw the time was 3:36 in the morning.. Only about two hours till we're supposed to get ready..

Might as well.

I climbed out of bed and tore a page out of my journal. I took a pen and wrote a note to Lucy, telling her that I'll be cooking downstairs. I went straight to the bathroom afterwards to take a shower. Afterwards, I dried up and wore some comfortable under clothes. I took another one of my black trench coats from my wardrobe and set it on my chair. This one has a wide collar, that almost covers my head. The inner lining of the collar has a zipper, with my hood inside. The outer lining is waterproof, the inner lining is soft, and darker than the outer lining. The torso has straps shaped like arrows, made of the same material as the inner lining. In the middle of the arrow heads are buttons. You know. The metal kind that you just push in. The coat's fauld has 2 larger arrow heads on its edges. On the back is a red hexagram symbol (). This is a trench coat I hooked out of a deep web site, which I won't be giving out. I put it down and wore some black jeans and a black vest, that has a hood. I took my black biker gloves out of my drawer and slipped my combat boots on, tucking my pants inside.

I leave my room, closing my door quietly, so I don't wake Lucy up. I figured my dad already went out for work or whatever he does everyday, since I can't hear his overgrown-hog-snore at all.

I went down to the kitchen and decided to make some eggs and noodles for me and Lucy. I took some eggs and cooked them the same way as yesterday. I took out 4 packs of noodles, since me and Lucy both eat a lot, and cooked them all in one pot, following the instructions to cook it (and adding a little bit more water). I set the table and got a large bottle of coke out of the freezer and filled our cups. I set it in the middle of the table, before setting a jug of icy water right beside it. I went back to the stove and put the eggs on a saucer and set it on the table. I went back and mixed the noodles more, and after a while, poured it into a bowl and set it on the table. Admiring my work, I went back upstairs and saw that about an hour has passed. The alarm will go off at 4:50. Twenty minutes till then.

I opened my bag and groped around for my diary. I got it out and saw that I had some science homework. I hurriedly completed it as accurately as I can and shoved it into my bag. I opened my bag and took 5 packs of Kit Kat and tossed them into my bag. I threw a pen into my bag and closed it. I decided to wake Lucy up quickly so that the food doesn't get cold before we eat it. I walked to the bed and put my hand on her back, rubbing it gently.

"Lucy, wake up. We have to get ready now." I said in her ear. "We have ten minutes to five o'clock."

She stirred slightly and shoved her face into her pillow drowsily. "Evie, five more minutes, pretty please?" she whined. I chuckled.

" Okay then! But that means I'm eating everything now. It's cooked already!" I said teasingly.

Covers were flying as she jumped right off her bed and out of the room giggling. I laughed and chased her through the halls, downstairs, and to the kitchen. We sat down and happily dug into our food, which luckily didn't go cold yet. Just warm enough for us to eat quickly.

"Evie! This tastes amazing!" Lucy exclaimed, continuing to literally vacuum the noodles out of her bowl.

"Careful now. You might get the hiccups." I teased. We chuckled, and continued eating.

We hastily dug into our meals, making a bit of a mess yet enjoying every bite of the food I cooked for the both of us. When we finished, Lucy's lips were as messy as a 1st grader's. We both laughed and stood up. I washed the dishes, while Lucy went to get herself ready for school.

I cleaned the table afterwards and went upstairs to get my bag. I passed by Lucy's room, her door opened just a crack, but I decided to respect her privacy and not look. I got into my room and put my phone into my bag and slung it onto my shoulder. I ran back downstairs and opened the front door. I leaned against the wall, waiting for Lucy. The sky is still quite dark, and the snow is still falling gently.

"Let's go Evie!" Lucy shouted, running out of the house. I locked the door, smiled, and ran after her. We laughed as we ran to school, not even thinking about the bus. We took turns performing tricks while running. Me pulling off a somersault and Lucy doing a butterfly twist in midair. I taught her well~

Soon enough, the outline of our school appeared on the horizon. But there was a different air to it. I sense a lot of happiness, and anxiousness, emenating from the direction of the school. What could be going on?

Lucy looks like she sensed it too. I could see the unease on her face as we ran. I slowed my pace to match hers and got closer to her.

"Hey Evie? I think they're holding a party of some sort," Lucy said, in between breaths.

"I don't know, Lucy. It seems like they're putting a banner up there. We're gonna be really outta place in there." I said nervously. " Question is, what's the occasion?"

" Wanna find out?" she asked cheerfully, yet with a hint of anxiousness in her voice.

"Sure," I smiled, "Race you."

She smiled and kept up with me. Soon we were close enough to read what was written on the banner.

"WE'RE SORRY EVANGEL!"

"Woah.." I gawked at the banner for some time before talking again. "What the hell...?"

" Looks like Evie's gonna be the center of attention now!" Lucy exclaimed cheerfully
"You're famous, Evie!" she squealed.

The memories of yesterday flew back into my mind like a flock of birds. My eyes widened in realization that I might be in extreme trouble now. I toughed the feeling out and continued my pace.

" C'mon Lucy, let's get to school before we're late for class." I said as I took her hand and started running.

I got into school and parted ways with Lucy. I ran to my locker and shoved my coat and bag in. I opened my bag and hurriedly took my pen and science book out. I closed my locker and tried not to lock out of place as I walked down the halls, waiting for the bell to ring. I had an hour left to do what I want. I stopped walking and stared at the ceiling. Why don't I check the courtyard out, or something? I started walking toward the courtyard, hoping I won't be noticed by anyone······

"Evangel! Dude, bro, partner! What's up man?!" a man's voice said from behind me. The source of the voice caught up with me was now walking beside me. I recognized him as one of the bums I beat up. He didn't show any sign of aggressiveness though. What's going on here?

"Hold up for a second, man! I wanna invite you as our special guest for the party tonight!" he said enthusiastically, stopping me and handing me an envelope.

I was dumbfounded. I took the envelope from him hesitantly and scanned it for a few seconds. "What for? I'm just the new kid-"

"BRAH! We wanted to make it up to you of course! If it weren't for Taylor, we would never have even tried hitting you!" he laughed loudly. " Oh yeah! Here, take another one. Bring your sister too! She can't miss out on the fun! We'll see you there homie!" he said while handing me another envelope and leaving.

I put it inside my book and decided to go to class early. Today's gonna be a big day~
