(A/N) I'm sorry if this took too long guys. Life got me busy, and I had a battle of wits with one of my friends here (You know who you are. XD) Anyways, without any further ado, on with the story. (sic)
I made my way to class wondering if I should go or not. I mean, I've talked to only 3 people here at school. I'm gonna be a totally outta place. I kept my head down and shoved my free hand into my pocket. I should be near my classroom now. A small hand landed on my right shoulder.
"Hi Evangel." a girl said in a cheerful but low voice.
I stole a peek to my right, my long blonde hair slightly covering my eyes.
Aria.
I turned my head back down, hoping that she didn't notice me looking. "Oh, hi Aria. What's up?" I croaked.
"Oh, just the ceiling, other than that, not much," she giggled. "Oh, who am I kidding. Are you going to the rave tonight?"
"I'm not sure. I'll be totally out of place if I go. I mean, I've only talked to three people here, other than that I don't know anyone else," I shrugged.
"Well, you should still go. It won't be nice to know the the special guest won't be coming to the party."
"Who, me? Why am I the special guest?" I asked, shocked.
"Well, first, you beat Taylor up, that was enough to start rumors about you. Second, you beat the whole football team, and 4 of Taylor's friends alone. Making the long story short, you, my friend, are the talk of the town!" she explained.
"Oh." I responded dumbfoundedly, unable to dig any other words up. "Did you get an invitation?"
"Yup!" she answered, and showed me hers. "Is your sister coming? You'll need another invitation from Nathan if you're bringing her with you."
"Yeah, I'm bringing her with me. He was the one who gave me the extra invitation for her. Pretty thoughtful of him," I said, a smile finding a way to my lips.
"Yeah, that's really thoughtful of him" Aria smiled. "By the way, did you do the science homework Mr. Calimelo gave us?"
"Yeah, finished it this morning," I answered proudly, smiling. Aria laughed and playfully punched my arm.
" Done at the last minute huh? Clever guy···" she giggled.
We got to class very early. The classroom was deserted. I took a seat at the back of class. Aria sat beside me. I put my textbook on the table, turned to the next lesson, and bookmarked it with my pen. I groaned and slammed my book shut, and let my head fall on my desk, letting out another groan.
"You don't like school much, do you?" Aria giggled.
"It's not like that. I woke up too early. I feel sleepy as hell now!" I groaned, my head still on my desk.
"Why don't you sleep for a while then?" I felt a smile in her voice.
"I need to keep myself up." I said while taking my head off the desk. "I don't want Sir Calimelo angry at me." I said, copying his accent. We both laughed and she playfully slapped my shoulder.
Soon, students filled the whole class, and Mr. Calimelo walked in. He set his things on the teachers desk and walked in front if the class.
"A pleasant morning to you all, my dear students. Today we will be studying the composition of an···"
"Mr. Calimelo." a voice boomed from the loudspeaker above the board, cutting the teacher off.
Sir Calimelo gulped. "Yes, Mr. Greene?"
