Teddy's P.O.V
"Hello?"
I watch as Sherlock stares into the camera, his body shaking as he looks around.
"Ooh! Um, sorry to disturb you. Um, I've just been attacked," he says tearfully, twitching in fear. It's becoming hard for me to try not to laugh.
"Um, and, um, I think they.... they took my wallet and, um, and my phone. Um, please could you help me?"
"I can phone the police if you want," the female voice from the intercom says.
"Thank you, thank you! Could you, please?" Sherlock says taking a step back. "Oh, would you... would you mind if I just waited here, just until they come? Thank you, thank you so much."
I nearly lose my self control when Sherlock begins grizzling like a baby. There's a buzz and the front door opens. Sherlock, John and I walk inside, Sherlock still grizzling.
"Thank you, er, ooh" Sherlock says to a red haired lady who is standing in the hall by the intercom, looking around. This place is huge.
"I-I saw it happen. It's OK, I'm a doctor," John says, closing the door behind us. The lady nods then looks at me.
"And you are?" she asks. Behind her Sherlock's eyes meet mine, a silent warning telling me that I can't say I'm his sister. Anyway, at the moment I didn't look anything like him except for the colour of our hair. Unable to come up with anything I say the first thing that springs to mind.
"I'm his girlfriend," I say, taking John's hand. If John was surprised at what I had said he wasn't showing it. The lady raised her eyebrows.
"Girlfriend?" she repeats.
"Yes, yep. Several months now," John confirms, looking at me with a smile. I return it, nuzzling his neck gently and trying to ignore the sharp pain in my chest. Too many damn memories....
"How sweet," the lady says with a smile.
"Yes, I'm very lucky to have him. He's so brave and caring," I croon, hoping like hell that this was looking natural to her. John ran his hand through my hair with a chuckle.
"As are you, my love," he replies. I look at Sherlock who's eyes are wide and seem to hold a bit of anger. Clearing my throat I look at the lady.
"Speaking of caring, shouldn't we be taking care of this man?" I say warmly. The lady looks at Sherlock who's face is once again tearful and scared.
"Oh, yes. Um, now, have you got a first aid kit?" John asks. The lady looks back at him and nods.
"In the kitchen."
She then gestures towards a door leading into what appears to be the living room, looking at Sherlock.
"Please," she says.
"Oh! Thank you!" he replies.
"Thank you," John repeats, following the lady as she walks towards the kitchen. I walk with him, looking over my shoulder at Sherlock. He gives me a judging stare at John and I then turns, heading into the living room. What the hell?
"The first aid kit is under the kitchen sink," the lady tells us. "I need to go upstairs and tell the owner of the house that she has guests. Will you be OK by yourselves?"
"Oh, yes, thank you," John says with a smile. The lady nods then leaves. A few seconds after she's gone I look at John who is staring at me.
"You went along with that quite well," I tell him, letting go of his hand and opening the cupboard underneath the sink. He chuckles, searching through some other cupboards.
