Barely Alive II

KATARINA
I drive fast, everything around turning into a blur. Talon's body lay behind the two front seats, in the floor of the vehicle. I desperately drive back to Noxus, quickly and efficiently. I do not look back, assuming that they aren't following us.

We make it back to Noxus, just in time. Talon had stopped bleeding. His breathing slowed, as his pain presumingly subsided. Soldiers carry Talon to the infirmary, where he rests. I sigh, walking out after I ensure that he is okay. It's all my fault... I think to myself. Morgana walks up to me, probably seeing that my face is unsure and worried. She looks at my face, trying to make out my expression. "You think it's your fault, don't you?" Morgana asks. My face turns red. I try to walk away, not answering. She Arcane Shifts be backwards, pulling me towards her.
"What? Let me go!" I squirm.
"Tell me." Her blunt tone calls out to me.
"Why do you care? It's not like you saw anything. Leave me alone," I sigh.
"I saw everything. I saw it all." I turn around, now facing her. She releases her Arcane Shift. I sigh once more, opening my mouth to speak.
"Yes, I'm sure it's my fault. He came in to save me, and nearly died because of it. It's obvious,"
"Katarina, not everything is your fault," Morgana comforts me. I shrug, now looking away from Morgana. "Alright, see you tomorrow then." She waves goodbye. We go on our separate ways. I leave to take a quick bath, and finish off the day.

I wake up to the sound of birds outside my window. They chirp, letting out their mating noises. I slowly get up, stretching my arms. I yawn, watering my eyes. Rubbing my eyes, I get up to execute my morning routine. I walk out from the bathroom a bit later, refreshed, and no longer tired. I decide to visit Talon in the infirmary. Walking down the hall, I see soldiers strolling by, patrolling the area. The infirmary door stands unlocked in front of me a little bit later, as I open it and walk inside. I am greeted by Talon, shirtless and without his cape. A long white bandage stretches around him, wrapping his stomach and lower back. His beautiful long hair stretches down to his neck. "Hi, Kata..." He says.
  "Hey," I wave back.
  "You're the first one to visit me. Why are you even awake this early?"
  "Because..." I mumble. "I just wake up really early."
"I just couldn't sleep. Every time I shifted my body it hurts," I cringe. My eyes dart downward, shame filling up my chest. Talon looks at me, realizing what I feel. "Katarina, it's not your fault." My eyes widen.
"H-how did you know?"
"I've known you for years. I get how you roll," he teases.
"Well it is my fault. I don't care what you or Morgana say. You nearly died because I was too weak to fight him myself."
"No, he snuck up on you. He got you by surprise. Don't be so hard on yourself. You're one of the most skilled assassins in Noxus. Heck, you're one of the best in all of Valoran." I blush, feeling my face turning hot.
"You really think so...?" I mutter, giggling after. He nods, smiling. I lean towards him, resting my elbows on the bed.
"Of course." He confidently answers. I don't say anything back, but a happy feeling replaces the shame. I sit down on a stool next to the bed, letting me lean closer to Talon. He smiles at me, getting me in the heart. I slowly lean even closer, closing my eyes. Our lips touch, and heat pours through us. I feel his hand going through my hair, comforting me. Our faces move away, as I lean my head onto his shoulder.

<Sorry for not posting anything yesterday! I was pretty busy :P And by the way, I'm deciding to turn this into either a passive series, that will be posted every once in a while, and add ANOTHER series too! Lemme know if you guys want that. This could be a main series, while other stories with be miniature or shorter. I don't know, it sounds good to me!>
