Wrong soul mate

Cresil and I have spent everyday together for little over a month now. He comes over after work and we go out every weekend. We have grown closer together having plenty of special moments in my room, in his truck, and at the lake but we have not had sex . Cresil says he wants to wait before we get that serious since I've never slept with anyone so I'm hoping this weekend will be the "serious" one. I'm in love with Cresil and he's in love with me even though neither of us has said it out loud.

He introduced his friend Nyx to Nova and let's just say things have gotten extremely serious between the two. Sometimes it's hard to be around them, they are constantly touching one another and making out, they don't care who's around or who's watching.
We decided to go camping at Broken Bow Lake which is about 3 and a half hours from Tulsa. So we got up early this morning and plan to be there by before noon. We want to beat the crowd there since its 4th of July weekend. My mom wasn't to excited about us leaving but never said anything about me going. She'd been acting strange since my dad left a few weeks ago. He said he was going on a business trip to do lectures for future interns in his field and would be back mid July.

Me and dad never really got to finish our conversation because he was practically out the door when I got back that night with Cresil. He said we would talk more when he got back, to enjoy my time with Cresil and not to worry about anything, so I did.

" Nova come help me real quick!"

I shout to Nova out the front door. She and Nyx are so close its hard to tell where her body ends and his begins. She tip toes and gives him a kiss then walks my way. We head up to my room to get the rest of our camping gear before we leave.

" Can you grab those please."

Nova grabs the two extra bags left with all our camping stuff. Nova is beaming with excitement.

" I'm so ready to get in that water! Its been like Africa hot here all summer!"

I started laughing and said

" Well you better get used to it."

We both start laughing and start heading down stairs to through the bags in Cresils truck. Nova stops before heading out the door to get a drink of water. Nova starts to say something then points at my watch.

" Why is your watch glowing?"

I never noticed it and in all honestly haven't really paid much attention to it since the day I got it. I look down at my watch, 14 hours is the only numbers remaining. I look up at Nova in disbelief. Nova grins at me.

" Oh wow! 14 hours huh? Maybe tonight will be the night you become a woman."

Nova winks at me and moves her eyebrows up and down quickly then I feel my knees get shaky.

" But we haven't said I love you yet."

I feel queasy now, nervousness floods through me and I'm not sure if I want to go. I want Cresil to make love to me and I do love him but it's a lot to take in especially since my time ends tonight. Cresil is the one I'll spend the rest of my life with and I'm just 17.

" Uh Kresta it the 22nd century, you don't need to say I love you before sex but I'm sure he'll drop the L bomb before the big moment. I mean, how romantic would it be to lose your virginity under the stars?"

" Yea it would be I guess..."

I can't shake my uneasiness so my words come out shaky. Nova walks over and rests her arms on my shoulders, looking me right in eyes.

" Hey" She says kindly " lighten up ok, if your not ready your not ready, don't feel pressured, Cresil will understand. I know this watch thing has you feeling edgy but it will be ok."

Nova pulls me close and gives me a big bear hug. I squeeze her back and know I'm going to miss her like crazy when she leaves. We pull back from one another and Nova watches me closely.

" How does this love watch thing even work?"

I say with a nervous laugh.

" I have no idea, hell I still got 7 years to go! Now let's getting going before we end up with a shitty camping spot!"

We walk out of my house laughing and I feel alot better about things. Novas right, Cresil would never pressure me into anything I was uncomfortable with. It's not like I didn't want to have sex with him because I really want to but this watch thing has me feeling uneasy. Almost like I'm making the wrong choose. Cresil has never even looked at my watch or even asked to see my time, he simply didn't care about love watches. Maybe I'm uneasy from the realization of finding my soul mate at 17, I don't know but I do know when I'm around him I am care free, someone I've never been before.

When we walk out of the house Cresil is leaning against his truck and begins walking towards me. When he looks at me with those stormy grey eyes I can't help but fall into his gaze and feel as if I'm seeing him for the first time.

" Let me take those for you."

He grabs the bags from me and sets them beside him. He gently lifts my chin up towards him with his fingers and looks straight into my eyes. His eyes are breathe taking, they change color often but today they are gleaming, sliver grey eyes stare into me, into my soul.

" Your so beautiful Krestra."

He pauses for a moment, as if searching for the right words.

"Do you know I'm in love with you?"

He asks tenderly. My heart stops and my chest felt tight. Tiny butterflies filled my belly, I tip toed up and placed a tender kiss on this lips.

" I'm in love with you too."
