I wake up to someone pushing me then I feel a hard hit on my left shoulder.

" Wake up Kresta"

Nova whispers almost to soft for me to hear. Immediately memories of last night come flooding back to me. Drinking, more drinking, rough touching, Cresil. I roll over to look at Nova and she's wide awake set up in bed ready for me to spill last night to her. I look out the window behind her and notice no sun light.

" What time is it?"

I mutter. My throat feels raw and my head starts to throb. I shouldn't have moved that fast.

" 6 am. Now tell me what happened!"

She whispers enthusiastically. I place my heads on my head. I need some excedrin. she hands me a glass of water and two white pills.

" Oh here's some headache medicine. Take it and tell me what happened."

I take the medicine and began telling her what unfolded last night. Hell hearing myself talk seems like I'm talking about someone else. It was totally out of character for me to behave that way and the look on Nova's face tells me everything. Her jaw all but dropped when I told her what happened at the lake. We both agreed NO MORE DRINKING.

" Oh my god Krestra I can't believe you! We're going to have to get you on birth control now. So when are y'all seeing each other again?" She says teasingly.

" I don't know for sure but we are going to see each other again."

I smile at the thought of that. I tell Nova I'm going to take a long hot bath. I still feel sluggish getiting into the tub so I just lay back and rest my head on a bath pillow.

I wake up shivering in a cold bath. I quickly stand up then throw a towel over me and drain the water. Walking back to my room I can hear my parents yelling at one another. They never yell or hardly agrue, so I run to my room and ask Nova how long this is been going on.

" About 10 minutes but I can't hear anything, your parents never fight."

Nova looks confused and I know I do. I hurry to put some clothes on and we sneak out my bedroom door to try 'nd hear what they're saying. Qutiely I place my ear to their door anxiously waiting to hear what they have to say. Nova just stands beside me. I hear Mom first.

" Why do you continue to lie to me!?"

Dad's voice appears to be a little shakey but he replies.

" I didn't lie to you."

" Withholding information from me is lying to me damn it!"

" Shhh, your going to wake the girls."

Dad sounds desperate to end this conversation.

" I don't care because this concerns Kresta as well! When did you plan on telling her Timothy! The day before her wedding!"

Moms so upset her voice is shaking. I began to feel nervous as well. What could they be talking about? I hear dad start walking torwards the door so I push Nova forward towards my room. As we scurry away I can hardly hear my mom say

" You will have to tell Kestra Tim."

Just then the door to my parents room opens as mine begins to shut. I hear dad stomp through the hallway heading downstairs.

" What the fuck was that about?"

Nova turns to me and ask.

" I honestly don't know"

I am completely dumbfounded what on earth could they be talking about? My wedding? The sun is out and shinning but I feel drained already. Buzz buzz. I hear my phone go off so I walk over and read the text.
