Chapter 4: The concert
"Lets go mom!" The kids say for the thousandth time in the past ten minutes as I get dressed for the concert. I'm going to wear a white shirt with a heart on it and jean shorts while the kids are all wearing R5 T-shirts and black Converse. I get the kids in the car and head to the arena. About an hour later, we get settled in our seats when I feel a couple girls sit behind me "That looks like Rydel." I hear one of the girls whisper "Who are the kids beside her? They look like her kids. The two girls look just like her." They whisper and I turn around and look at them "It really is you." They say and I smile and bring my finger to my lips "Please don't say anything. I don't want the boys to know I'm here. I just want to see them live and make sure they're okay." I say and they open their mouths to protest but then close it back and nod "Okay. But are these your kids?" One of the girls ask. I can't tell the fans that they're my kids or they will end up posting it on Twitter or Instagram and the boys will see it. I'm about to reply when the show starts and smile at the girls then turn around and watch the show. Even from my seat which is seven rows back I can see Riker's eyes scanning the crowd "Lord, please don't let him see me." I whisper as they start playing their second song

Riker's POV:
As I'm playing my bass, my eyes scan the crowd and my gaze locks with the eyes of my little sister watching me intently with tears coming down her cheeks. It's Rydel. It's really her. She sees me looking and looks down at the floor "Riker? Bro?" I hear Rocky say and I look over at him and realize the boys are all watching me "Sorry. What'd you say?" I say sheepishly and the crowd laughs "You sing the next song." Ross says and I nod and start singing the song that I wrote after Rydel left

"When I saw the note you left, I knew you had went away. You said that you will always love us even though you can't stay."

"When I see you again, I'll tell you how I missed my little sister who obsessed over Hello Kitty and tutus but most of all I'll tell her how much I love her."

"Mom and dad can't believe their little girl has gone away, they want their daughter back home where she belongs."

I finish the song a couple minutes later and I look back at Rydel and see her crying again which makes me teary eyed

Rydel's POV:
I can't stop crying ever since they started singing and I can see that Riker is getting emotional too. He's been distracted ever since he saw me in the crowd. The concert ends and the kids all say the have to use the bathroom "Let's go before there is a line." I say and hurry the kids over to the restrooms "Mom there is too many people. I don't want to go in there alone." Carter says and I smile and hug him "Let's find the family bathroom and then I'll go in with you." I say and they all nod. We walk around and end up finding a family bathroom about ten minutes later "Okay kids, this bathroom doesn't have a line so you can go in there one at a time." I say and Maddie hurries into the bathroom "Mom, why do girls take longer in the bathroom then boys do?" Mason says and I scratch the back of my neck "Um well they just take longer because they're girls." I say and he nods "Plus me and Carter are faster than the girls at anything." He says and I laugh "Oh really?" I say and both of the boys nod "Yeah. Girls are slow." They say and Carly huffs "I'm way faster than you, Mason." She says as Maddie walks out of the bathroom and Carly goes in and shuts the door

Riker's POV:
I can't believe that Rydel is here. She went to our concert. We're now backstage. I get out of the shower, dry off, get dressed then head into the dressing/lounge room to see the rest of the boys in there "What was wrong with you tonight, Riker? You seemed distracted." Ross says and I shake my head "It's crazy. I think I saw Rydel in the crowd tonight." I say and they all look at me like I'm a ghost "Y-you what?" Ratliff says "I saw Rydel in the crowd. She was seven rows from the stage in the middle." I say and
