My mood could not have been better when a roll of thunder woke me up this morning. I must say, the storm that was brewing in the sky above was very fitting, what with Lucy being dead and all.

And I, being the only one that knew about it, had the job of 'discovering' her. Yep, I get to do the whole fake scream and everything! How exciting! This was going to be just like Christmas.

I threw my blanket off of myself with a little too much enthusiasm and planted my feet firmly on the cold floor. The shock of the coldness on the bottom of my feet making me practically bounce to the bathroom, keeping my feet off the ground for as long as it was possible.

It was still only early so I had plenty of time to take a nice warm shower. The water was so hot that soon I couldn't see my own reflection in the mirror smirking back at me through all the steam that was quickly filling up the room.

The continuous rolls of thunder outside keeping the smirk on my face throughout the shower. The almost scalding pellets of water that were hitting my body and trickling down into the drain had a calming affect on me and allowed me to clear my mind of everything and get into the right state of mind to act as horrified and distraught as possible when it was time to 'discover' Lucy.

My hands were twitching with anticipation, and I just wanted to sing out and prepare my throat for the glorious scream I would have to let out. No doubt it would scare Lukas and Richard, before they knew what I was screaming about, so that was definitely an added bonus.

Oh I could just tell this was going to be a glorious day. The only annoying part would be when the police and detectives arrived. There would be all sorts of questions asked, and a whole lot of flawless acting to attempt.

Jordan was certain that I could do it, and if he thought I could it, then so did I. Not saying that it won't be difficult, especially when on the inside I want to jump up and down with excitement, but I had a job to do, and I was going to do it.

When my hair was reasonably dry, I left the bathroom, pulling my favourite hoodie over my head. Lucy's door was still slightly open, the way I had left it last night. I couldn't hear anyone moving around downstairs or in their bedrooms so for now, I was the only one awake.

Once the door was open, I stood leaning against the doorframe admiring my work. It wasn't messy and bloody like Jennifer's murder had been, but it was still just as satisfying to see her body hanging there limp and unmoving. Her skin was slowly starting to pale and her eyes were half open, staring blankly at the lower wall of her bedroom.

Sitting on the desk in the exact same position I left it, was her laptop. The battery had gone flat during the night, but when the detectives charged it up to take a look, it would still be on her Facebook profile and the suicide status would be the first thing that they saw. It wasn't part of the original plan, but it definitely solidified things.

I took my time, walking around her body in a circle a few times, getting a good look at the bruises that had formed around her neck in the pattern of the rope. The fear she felt last night was still etched on her face and I could see one tear track that had dried up. It was amazing how much confidence, success and joy that that one little tear track made me feel.

As much as I would have loved to stand here all day admiring my work, Richard and Lukas would be up soon, and if they caught me just standing here with a smirk on my face then they would definitely become suspicious. Well, after they got over the fact that their daughter and sister was hanging there dead.

So, when I made my way back to a spot in the hallway just in front of her wide open door, I drew in a large breath and screamed at the top of my lungs. "Richard!"
