Chapter 6

Amelia P.O.V

I woke myself up at 9 and went and got myself some toast and orange juice. I ate my breakfast then went into the front room to watch telly. My mum woke up and came and sat down next to me.
"Slept well baby" she asked parting my knee
"Yeah thanks" I said smiling at her
"I thought we could go shopping today." She said
"Yeah well Were going at 6 so we could go now" I suggested
"Okay go and get dressed then" she said jumping up
"Shall I get changed into what I'm wearing later or something else" I asked
"Something else I will do your hair if you want later" she suggested
"Okay and yeah thanks" I said going into my room.
I got changed into some white skinny jeans, a white and black stripy crop top and black and white Nike trainers. I brushed my teeth and hair then washed my face. I left my hair as it normally is and went into the living to find my brothers all stood dressed ready to go out.
"Where you going" I asked them
"With you and mum" Jai said
"Ugh why?" I asked
"Cause we want to" Luke said
"Surprised she isn't coming" I said meaning Rachael
"She is Rachael" Luke said angrily
"Oh I'm sorry for offending the holy lady" I spat at him "Now your whole life revolves around her"
"Stop arguing the pair of you and go and get in the car Luke in the front please" mum said. We all liked to the car and I got into the middle of Jai and Beau and Luke and mum got into the front. I got my phone out my pocket and sent a snapchat to Reagan of me pouting and put What you up to tomorrow?🌸 She sent back a silly one and put nothing so I asked her if she wanted to come round and she said yep.
"Seen as you've took so many selfies let's take one together" Jai said sticking his phone out so all three of us were in the picture. I smiled and Jai did his weird thingy with his lip that he always does. Beau just did a weak smile. Jai tweeted the picture and put: Family outing😀
I retweeted and commented: Love this picture.
We arrived and we all got out the car and walked to the shopping centre. We all walked in a line Luke,mum,Beau,me then Jai but Jai had his arm around me, he always does whenever we're walking about. Mum says that I'm Jai's comfort like when babies have blankets or stuffed animals to keep them safe, mum says Jai always feels safe when he's with me. Thinking about that made me give him a hug and I told him I loved him and he told me he loved me back. We got into the shopping centre and it wasn't to busy. As soon as we got in two girls came running over
"Omg I can't believe it can we have a picture" one screamed
"Yeah sure beautiful" Luke said
"Amelia take it" beau said
I took the picture and the girls wanted a selfie with me so I agreed then they went running off somewhere. Everyone started staring at his so I got closer to Jai and he put his arm around me again. We followed mum round to the shops she wanted to go to then we could choose one shop each that we wanted to go in. The twins chose Nike and Beau chose vans. I wanted to get a new bikini for my party so I went to Hollister. I found a really nice bikini and mum said I had to try it on. Mum and the boys waited outside of the door whilst I put it on. It looked really nice on so I opened the door and Beau and Jai's mouthed dropped.
"That's beautiful Amelia" mum said but she looked angry
"So can I get it" I asked
"Yeah sure just go and get changed babe" she said still angry
So I did what she said because I didn't want to get on her bad side. I started to get change when I heard my mum say
"Don't look at her like that"
"Like what" Jai said
"With your mouths open she's your little sister" mum shouted
"We didn't" Beau said
"Yes you did now when she comes out apologise the pair of you" she said. I put my shoes on and opened the door.
"Sorry" they both said
"It's fine" I said walking out to buy my stuff.
I went to the counter and bought my bikini.
"Sorry to ask but are you the brooks brothers sister" the lady at the counter asked
"Yeah" I smiled
"Could I have a picture with you" She asked
"Sure" I said as she got her phone out and we smiled
"Do you want my brothers" I asked
"If that's okay" she nodded
"BEAU LUKE JAI" I shouted and she laughed. The boys came running looking worried.
"What's up are you okay" Beau asked
"Yeah I just met Sydney and she would like a picture with you" I said
"Oh sure beautiful" Jai said and I took a picture of the four of them.
"Thank you" she said smiling as we walked away.
"We best be going you need to get ready" mum said
"Where's she going" Beau asked
"Cinema" I said
"With who" Beau asked
"Reagan" I lied
"Right do you want me to take you" beau asked
"No thanks Mel is" I lied again.
We walked back to the car and I sat in the front this time and the boys squished into the back.
"Mum can Rach sleep" Luke asked and I sighed
"If you want" mum said
"Thanks" Luke smiled
"I can't stand her" I whined
"Shut up" Luke said
"No I can say what I want" I shouted
"Stop the pair of you. I'm not her. Ingest fan either babe but we will have to put up with it" mum said
"Why does no one like her what's she done" Luke stressed
"Have you seen the looks she gives me like I'm a piece of shit and if I go near you she gives me a dirty look like I'm gonna do out to you your my brother" I said
"Well I love her and know what she's really like" Luke said
"What so your saying I'm lying" I shouted
"Yeah" Luke shouted back
"I hate you so fucking much" I shouted
"Amelia calm down" Jai said touching my shoulder. I started to cry because I was stressed out and I never normally cry so everyone apart from Luke started getting worried.
"Babe what's wrong don't cry" Mum said
I just carried on crying into my knees until we got home. I jumped out the car and ran and unlocked the door. I ran into my room and slammed the door. I had an hour to get ready so I picked my outfit out. Some black skinny jeans, a grey cropped jumper, white converse and curly hair. Before there I started to get changed there was a knock at my door.
"Who is it" I said between tears
"Jai let me in" he said. I unlocked my door and he gave me a huge hug then picked me up and sat me on his knee on my bed facing him.
"What's wrong" he said moving my hair out of my fave.
"Why does he always have to be right" I said
"No he's not Ino what she's like he just thinks he is" Jai said looking into my eyes.
"But he doesn't believe me" I sighed
"Don't worry about him" he said still looking into my eyes. I started to cry again.
"Hey don't cry" he said hugging me
"I want the old Luke back" I cried
"I do to babe. Here let me tell you something. There's no need to cry over Luke you always argue with him your alike in your anger. But always remember ever since we were little I always wanted a sister and when I got one I was sooo happy. You've always been my favourite sibling the reason I don't have a girlfriend is because I've got you and I know how much it hurts you and seeing you upset breakers my heart" he said then kissed my cheek.
"I love you so much Jai" I said giving him a hug
"I love you to princess" he said stroking my hair.
"Right I better get ready" I said jumping up.
"Any boys going tonight" he asked
"No just me and Re" I lied.
"Good" he said shutting my door.
I got changed into my outfit and mum walked in.
"Do you want me to do your hair" she asked setting up the curling iron.
"Please" I said sitting at my vanity.
She curled my hair and put on some hairspray. I put my shoes on and some lip balm. I got my phone off charge and put it in my bag. I walked back into the living room and stood waiting at the door.
"You look gorgeous" mum said giving me a hug
"Thank you" I said
"Why you dressed up so fancy" beau asked
"We wanted to be fancy" I lied and mum laughed a little.
"You look pretty here let me take a picture of you and mum" Beau said taking his phone out. Mum put her arm round me and we smiled. He started messing round on his phone and then my phone buzzed. I got it out of my pocket and looked at the picture on Instagram he put underneath: My gorgeous sister and mum
I gave him a hug and then my phone buzzed again it was Gray.
Grayson:
We're ready if you wanna come xx
I put my phone back in my bag and opened the door
"I'm off she's just round the corner see you later" I said
"Have a nice time" mum said.
I walked out of the door and ran to Graysons and knocked on his door. His mum answered with a big smile on her face.
"Hello gorgeous" she said letting me in.
"Hi" I said shyly
I couldn't believe how hot Grayson looked he was wearing a Ralph Lauren top, jeans and Nike shoes. He stood up and walked over to me and hugged me.
"You look beautiful" he said
"Thanks you not to bad yourself" I said
"Right come on we best get going" Mel said getting the car keys. From what I saw Grayson was loaded. Apparently his step dad was high up in the army and his mum was a headteacher at private school. We got in his mum Range Rover and we both sat in the back. The drive was silent apart front the radio. Once we arrived Mel just stopped the car and told Grayson to ring her when we the film finished. I thanked her and walked in.
"Do you want any food" he asked me
"Well I was just gonna get a popcorn" I smiled getting my purse out
"I'll pay" he said
"No it's fine" I said
"No Amelia just let me pay" he laughed
"If you insist" I smiled.
He bought the popcorn and then we got our tickets. We were watching a new comedy film. We walked into the film and sat down when a loud noise came in and it was a group of lads from my school.
"Oh look who it is Amelia how's it going" one called Ethan said
"What you doing" I asked
"Watching the film what do you think" He said
"Well no shit"mi laughed
"Ey Amelia look who's here.....Brandon" Ethan said pouting at him. Brandon always had a thing for me and it kinda creeped me out.
"Oh great" I said sarcastically
"So who's this" Ethan said smiling at Grayson
"Grayson he lives next door to me and he's coming to our school next year" I said
"Oh cool nice to meet you mate" Ethan said
"Same" Grayson replied.
They went and sat down and the film started. Half way threw the film Grayson put his arm around me and I rested my head on his shoulder. The film ended and told me to wait till everyone had gone.
"Amelia I know we've only known each others for two days but I feel like I've known you forever....... So Amelia will you be my girlfriend?" He asked
OMG I didn't think he like me but I deffinatley like him
"Of course" I said and hugged him. After we hugged we both leant in and kissed. And omg it was the best thing ever. I felt butterfly's like I did when Oscar kissed me but better. I pulled away and he had a huge smile on his face.
"I love you" he said
"I love you to" I said and I meant it. We walked out and he held my hand. We sat next to each other on the bench waiting for his mum to arrive. She arrived a few minuets later and we got in.
"How was the film kids" she asked
"Good" we both said
We stayed in silence the whole way home but Grayson had hold of my hand. She parked in his drive and we got out. His mum was unlocking the door when he grabbed hold of me and kissed me.
"I'll speak to you later yeah" he said smiling
"Yeah I'll text you thank you" I said going out of the gate
"Bye" he said as I unlocked my door.
Jai,Beau and Mum were sat on the couch and I guessed Luke was with Rachael.
"Had a nice time babe" Jai asked pulling me onto his knee.
"Yeah it was good. Mum can I talk to you" I asked
"Sure babe" mum said
"I mean in private" I said standing up
"Oh right come on to my room" she said grabbing my hand.
"Right what's up" she asked
"Nothing it's a good thing I just don't want the boys knowing not yet anyway. Well you know Grayson he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yeah" I said smiling.
"Omg no way" mum said like she was my age
"Mum I knew you wanted me to go out with him I could tell" I laughed
"Ino he's a good looking lad and your beautiful" mum smiled
"Thanks so I'm guessing she's here" I sighed
"Yep unfortunately just stay away sweet come lets go back" she said opening the door.
We walked back in and the boys smiled at me and I smiled back.
"Everything okay" beau asked getting worried
"Yeah just something good not bad" mum said and I shot her a dirty look. My phone started ringing and it was Grayson.
G:Hey
A:Hi everything okay
G:Yeah I was just asking if you wanted to come to a party my mums having tomorrow night.
A:Yeah what time
G:Well it starts at seven mums invited your brothers and mum aswell.
A:Okay I will come see you then
G:Bye love you
A:Love you to
It was a good job that Beau and Jai were arguing threw that whole convosation so they couldn't here me.
"Who was it Hun" mum asked
"Gary" I said and she smiled.
"Was it about the party" she asked
"Yeah" I smiled
I sat down and Grayson text me

I didn't notice but I had a huge smile on my face and mum was smiling at me. A few moments later Luke came walking out of his room his hair messy and only in his boxers. Jai and Beau sniggered to themselves I wondered why at first but I caught on eventually and laughed.
"Fuck off" he said fixing his hair
"Luke Anthony Mark brooks don't say that" mum shouted
"Soz" he said sarcastically
"Luke I'll tell her to go home stop it" mum shouted and he went to get a drink. Rachael came walking out in only her underwear and I got so angry and I could tell mum did aswell.
"What the fuck do you think your doing walking round my house like that go put some clothes on your lucky mums letting you in here using Luke ha you've ruined him you bitch" I yelled at her I couldn't control myself
"And why should I listen to a little brat like you" she laughed
"Cause it's my house and my brother" I spat at her
"Amelia fuck off" Luke said pushing me off
"Get the fuck off her" Jai said and pushed Luke
"The fuck Jai" Luke said punching him. Beau shot up and pulled Jai off but left Luke. He looked at me funny so I stuck my finger up at him and he punched me in the stomach and it killed. It took my breath away and I couldn't breath. Jai got so angry he nearly went for him but Beau pulled him back.
"LUKE ANTHONY MARK BROOKS SIT DOWN RIGHT KNOW SEND HER HOME GIVE ME YOUR PHONE AND LAPTOP" mum shouted as I started to cry because my stomach started to really hurt like I was going to throw up.
"Babe I'm sorry I should of helped you" Jai said hugging my but I winced because my stomach hurt.
"Jai luv go get her an ice pack. Are you okay sweet" mum said
"I feel sick" I said and ran to the bath room to throw up. Beau came and pulled my hair out of my face as I was sick again. I got back up and washed my face and Beau looked at me sympathetically. I gave him and hug and he kissed my head.
I lifted my top up to look at me stomach and it was already starting to make a huge bruise cause I bruise easily.
"Omg are you okay emmi" he said using my old nickname
"Yeah but it kills I feel like I have to bend over" I said
"Well come on Jai's got you an ice pack your pale" he said as I looked in the mirror and I was pale. I walked into the kitchen slowly and sat on the chair listening to mum shout at Luke.
"Look see what you have done to her she can't stand up straight just because she was stopping her from walking in front of your brothers like that. She cares about you and she's trying to tell you but you don't give a shit do you you should be the one protecting her not the other way round I'm sick of it Luke and if it doesn't stop I'm going to do something about it. Your grounded and don't give me the whole I'm 20 excuse because that's your 12 year old sister you've PUNCHED. Rachael is band from coming here" mum said which made me cry because she was actually sticking up for me.
"For fuck sake mum does she hell care about me all she cares about is Jai, Beau and you she never cares about me and I love Rachael and she isn't going to change my mind she spoils everything and I'm not grounded" he shouted.
"Don't you dare talk to me like that or you can go and live with your nonna shell knock some sense into you. Of course she cares about you, you don't care about her that's why she doesn't show it but I've heard her talk to Jai about it. She only shows it with Jai and Beau because they help and protect her." Mum said.
"I do care mum it's just she's getting in the way I don't want her choosing my relationships or stuff like that" Luke said.
I felt sick again and ran into the bathroom. I threw up and washed my face again. Mum looked at me sympathetic again. My life is messed up every time something good happens something bad has to happen after.
"Come on let's sit down on the couch" Jai said helping me.
"I cants lay flat" I whined
"Sit in between my legs" Jai said patting the couch. I sat I between his legs and he leant back abit so I relaxed. For once we were all sat on the couch not arguing.
"Babe let me look at your stomach" mum said
"Okay" I said as Jai lifted my top up for me. The bruise was in a big circle already blue and purple it looked ridiculous. Mum started touching it and it killed.
"You're lucky it's just below your ribs" she said pushing on it and tears ran down my face.
"Sorry honey does it hurt" she asked
"Yes a lot" I cried
"Please don't cry it upsets me" Jai said sounding upset.
Mum smiled at us both because she knows what Jai's like with me.
"I can't have you two like this anymore it upsets me. My babies fighting I love you to much it hurts to see you like this were going to sort this out at dinner okay" mum said
"Okay" we all said in unison
"I love you all lots don't forget that okay" mum said
"Love you" I said and the boys did to
"That's to cute not to take a picture of" mum said meaning me and Jai. She got her phone out and told me and Jai to look at each other so we did and he smiled. I love my brother so much. She put it on Instagram saying:He loves his sister💖 Love my babies
"I think we should go to bed come on" mum said. So we all got up and I said night to everyone
"Night Beau" I said hugging him and he hugged back carefully
"Night baby" he said then kissed my head
"Night mama" I said kissing her cheek
"Night my baby girl" she said
"Night Jai I love you" I said hugging him even though it killed
"I,love you lots princess" he said going into his room. I went to get a drink and Luke was in the kitchen crying. Ino were not on good terms but seeing him crying makes me really upset. He looked at me and smiled and I smiled back and then he opened his arms and I ran up to him and he picked me up even though it hurt. I started to cry because I missed this so much.
"I love you Amelia even though we fall out I always will" he said crying
"I love you to" I said giving him a kiss.
"Come on I'll put you to bed" he said carrying me into my room.
He put me on my bed and tucked me in.
"I love you" he said kissing my head
"I love you lots" I said.
I heard him go back into his room because it was right next door and he burst out crying and talking to Jai. I couldn't sleep so I went on my phone and looked on my tagged pictures. There was some of me and Jai and then I saw one that I hadn't seen before it was of me and Luke just then and mum had put it on saying: Finally friends again I think it's the first time they have ever told each other they love each other hope they do this more often
I smiled then fell asleep.
