Chapter 16

Amelia P.O.V

Mum woke me up at six and I was shattered.
"Come on breakfast is ready" she said and opened my curtains. For breakfast she made me eggs,bacon and hash browns. I ate it all then went in my room and got changed into some dance shorts and my team jacket. I danced for Glenroy, dance academy, which is were I live it's in Melbourne (were the Janoskians live when they're in Australia). My team, which is the six of us are called the Glenroy Girls which is what it says on my jacket.Mum did my hair but she would have to do it again later. I packed my stuff in the car which was my dance costume and comp bag. Mum always brings my stuff like water and snacks later on when she arrives.
"Right it's seven we need to go" mum said as she left the house. I followed her and got in the car
"You ready for today" she asked
"Yeah" I smiled
"You never get nervous" she laughed
"Yeah that's cause I'm a brooks" I said in a 'duh' tone.
"You crack me up" she laughed.
We arrived at the studio and the bus was already there. All the girls were on the bus except Brooklyn because she was running late. I put my stuff in the boot and said by to mum
"Behave you I'll see you later" she said and walked away
"I see your friends with your brothers now" Reagan said as I sat down
"Yeah I felt really bad" I said
"Ame it wasn't your fault though" Lacey laughed
"Ino but I like to make people happy" I laughed
"We now that" Georgie laughed which made us all laugh.
We waited for fifth teen minutes until Brooklyn arrived
"Oh look she's finally here" Lacey laughed and Brooklyn laughed.
"Let's go get um girls" Olivia said as the bus started and we all cheered. I decided to film a  video for my snapchat.
"Hey guys were currently on the way to our comp wish us luck" I said then showed all of the girls as they pulled funny faces. I got a text from nonno which I wasn't surprised at because he wakes up really early

He always put from nonno because he thought I couldn't see who it was from although I had told him one thousand times that I could. Lacey held her phone pit for us all to take a selfie we all smiled and she put it on Instagram saying: With my girls on our way to comp wish us luck #Glenroygirls
The rest of he journey we just messed about to music and I slept abit. We arrived at the comp and the venue was huge. We got out of the bus and got all of our stuff. We carried it all into the comp we had two teams from our studio competing today but they came on a different coach I was the little ones and my cousin Pearl was on that team which I was excited to see her dance. She was really small with blonde hair and was adorable. We couldn't go in the rooms were we would get ready yet because they weren't ready. We put our stuff down and practised the routine a couple of times. My arms was killing but I didn't want to tell anyone because I don't want to spoil it. A few moments later the bitchy team arrived who thought they were amazing but they weren't. They gave us a dirty look so we just laughed at them. They were that shot they didn't even have a studio name a studio or costumes they were all wearing shitty home made sports bras and shorts but they thought and acted like they were sponsored by Gucci or something. We were finally allowed into our dressing rooms and ours was pretty big because we had our little team with us. Pearl arrived and she ran upto me and hugged me.
"Amelia" she said
"How are you baby" I asked her
"I'm excited I'm going to win" she said jumping up and down
"You certainly will" I said
"Is Beau here" she asks she always loved Beau.
"Yes he is you can see him later if you want." I told her
"Yay yay" she said hen went o her teacher. Olivia did my makeup which consisted of eyeliner, mascara,blush and lipgloss. I didn't like a lot because I feel like if I touch my face I've ruined it all. Olivia did my hair in a big pony tail and sprayed a spray that had sparkly things in it. She did last the other girls and she told us to stand together for a picture. We all hugged eachother and smiled. She put it on our dance Instagram saying: Arrived at the comp and got ready go #Glenroygirls.
"Girls we have to go for a briefing in ten minutes on stage so just relax for abit and Amelia let me fix your arm" she said. I had to ha e ski coloured tape round it because they were the rules. She tied it really tight around my arm to make sure it wouldn't fall off.
"Make sure you don't push yourself to hard we can't loose you because of injury this season" she said hugged me
"I won't" I said then sat on my phone for a bit until we had to go. Pearl looked beautiful in her costume so I took a selfie with her and put it on Twitter: With my favourite girlie ready for comp she looks beautiful😍
Whilst I was on Twitter I checked my brother because they Normally tweet something when I have a comp
Jai tweeted: Good luck to my little sister today love you baby #Glenroygirls
Beau tweeted: Go #Glenroygirls make me a proud brother babe
Luke tweeted: You look beautiful baby do us proud #Glenroygirls
Mum tweeted: Good luck to my baby girl today show um #Glenroygirls.
"Right come on girls it's briefing" Olivia said. We all had partners from the little team there team was called Glenroy Divas because trust me they were. My partner was Pearl obviously, Reagam was with Paris, Lacey was with Sierra, Georgie was with Isla and Brooklyn was with Leah. We walked on stage and sat at the front next to the bitchy team. The person who was doing the breeding wasn't there yet. I saw my mum, brothers, Grayson and his mum walk in. I could hear the bitchy team say something when they walked in
"Omg he's well fit" One said
"What the tall one" The other said meaning my brothers
"Yeah all of them even that other boys" They said. Because the briefing person wasn't there we could do what we wanted but everyone stayed on stage. But I wanted to show them bitchy girls that they were my brothers and boyfriend so I jumped off stage and I could feel their eyes burning in my back. I walked over to them and Jai noticed it was me and held his arms out so gave him a hug and he kissed my cheek.
"You look beautiful baby" he said
"Thanks Jai" I said then went to Luke
"Hey Luke" I said and he picked me up
"Hello gorgeous good luck" he told me
"Thanks" I said then hugged him.
"Amelia" Beau shouted and I walked over to him.
"Look at you pretty" he said and I gave him a kiss.
"Love you" he told me
"Love you to" I told him. Then I went to Gray. I kissed him, we had a full on make out u Gil we got interrupted
"Er I think that's enough" Beau laughed
"Sorry" I laughed
"Good luck baby" he said
"Thanks babe" I said gave him a hug.
"Good luck sweetheart" Mel told me.
"Thanks Mel" I said
"Hey Beau Pearls up there she wanted to see you" I said then he shouted her and she came running
"Beau" she shouted running up to him.
"Hello little one how are you" Beau asked her
"I'm going to win" she smiled
"Ino you are because what are you" he asked he always said this to her he always practised it
"I'm a brooks" she said proudly
"And what do we do" he asked
"We win" she cheered.
"Would all contestants come back to stage please" The women said so I carried Pearl back. We sat down and my family sat near the front were I could see them.
"Why did you talk to them boys" One bitchy girl asked
"Girl are you thick, there my brothers and boyfriend and don't talk about them like you did go stick your pound shop sports bra up your Arse" I said and my brothers burst out laughing. They were sat in a line it was Mum, Mel, Grayson, Beau, Luke and then Jai.
"Riggs kiddos this is how we are going to run the competition. First we will introduce each studio at a time then we will start with the you gets up to age 14 the awards" the women said. We were one of the oldest teams in the comp which mean we were going last. We all excited the stage and waited to be called on. The bitchy team went first then us.
"Glenroy Dance Academy" she said and we walked on hand in hand with our partners. Everyone cheered and my family were stood up smiling.
"Competing we have the Glenroy Divas" she said and the littles ones went forward and bowed.
"And the Glenroy girls" she said and we all went forward and bowed, all my brothers and mum had there phone out filming me with huge smiles on their faces. We walked off and went back stage. Because we were last we got to sit at the front and watch the other teams. The first dance was a cute little two year old who ran off crying but it was cute while it lasted. It finally got up to Pearls age group and she had a solo.
"Next we have Pearl Brooks with Divafied" the women said and she strutted on and we all cheered well I screamed.
"Show um pearly" I screamed.
Her music started and god she was sassy. She was a great dancer and her faces were well cute. You would think that what she could do for such a little girl. She finished and I stood up a cheered, she had a huge smile on her face and walked off. Next was the only other soloist form the Divas Isla. Isla was really flexible and good at tumbling.
"Go Isla" I shouted as she came on stage. Her dance was amazing and she had a huge smile on her face aswell. Then they had there group routine.
"Now we have the Glenroy Diva's performing Let it go"the women said and they walked on
"Go girls" I shouted. I bet everyone was sick of me!
They dance was amazing they were all good. We watched all the dances in the first half then we could have a break. I went over to everyone and sat on Graysons knee because I felt sorry for him having to sit with Beau. I sat facing him and kissed him.
"Your little cousins well cute" she laughed
"Ino she's so sassy" I laughed
"Beautiful like you" he said then I kissed him again.
"Hey Amelia why were you shouting at that girl" Luke asked
"Oh because her team are horrid and she was calling you all fit and I was having none of it" I smirked
"It was pretty funny" Beau laughed. I looked at Jai and he looked upset.
"I'm just going to Jai he looks sad" I whispered to Grayson
"Okay" he said kissed me one last time.
I sat on Jai's knee facing him and healed his face in my hands
"What's us with mr grumpy in the corner" I laughed
"You didn't come to me first" he sighed
"Well that's because I felt sorry because he has to put up with Beau it doesn't mean I love you less I love you all the same but you a little more" I whispered the last part.
"I love you" he said and I gave him a hug.
"Amelia come here" mum said so I we over but I just sat and Grayson again because I couldn't be arsed climbing over two grown women.
"Yes" I asked
"Your all set right" she asked getting worried
"Yes mum I'm fine everything's ready" I laughed
"Good good you need to try your hardest" mum said
"Ino mum you tell me every time" I sighed
"Could all dancers return back stage" the lady said
Whilst I walked back I heard a lot of good luck from teams family and friends. I don't want to sound cocky but they always expect a lot from us because we were really good because we train hard everyday. We weren't allowed to sit at the front this time because we were competing in the second half. We at and waited until it was our turn. Then we were told to go to the back off the stage and wait till the dance finished, Olivia walked us there.
"Right girls we need to win this so try hard and you know I love you all" she said
"What do we say" Lacey shouted
"Glenroy girls were here to win  and nothing else let's go girls" we cheered.
"Next we have anaconda by Glenroy Girls" the women said and we all walked on.
"Go girls" I heard mum shout
"Show um Ame" Beau shouted. The music stated and we danced. I could see all my lot smiling and cheering so I pushed myself hard be jade I want to make them proud. My arm was absolutely killing me put I held back tears and tried to ignore the pain. It was my tumbling part and I did it without mistake but my arm killed one tear slid down my face and mum noticed
"Keep going baby stay strong" she shouted
"Come on baby" Jai shouted which made me wipe it away and try just for Jai.
"Well done Amelia" mums shouted which put a huge smile on my face. I had another tumbling part and my arm hurt even more and a few tears slipped down my face again but I kept smiling. We finished the routine posed for the last second I held my tears back but as soon as the music stopped just before we left the stage I burst out crying, my arm was wrecking. I walked off stage and Olivia ran and carried me backstage.
"You did great sweetheart" she said
"My arm" I cried
"I know baby your mums coming" she said and my mum came running in.
"Baby are you okay" she asked stroking my hair
"It kills" I cried
"You were amazing babe you couldn't tell it was perfect" mum said
"Did I ruin it" I cried
"No no not at all" she said
"We heard there's an injury" the ambulance man said walking in which made me nervous.
"Yes here sir" mum said
"It's her arm she pulled it before but she didn't want to let her team down" Olivia said
"Okay what's your name honey" he asked
Amelia" I said
"Well I'm Andy and I'm just going to check your arm if that's okay" he said
He checked my arm and bent it in many different ways and some hurt badly.
"Right Amelia you've pulled your ligaments in your arm which can be really painful.Ligaments are flexible, but they do not stretch very far.  Injuries – such as when you sprain a ligament, twist a knee, take a bad fall, suffer a whiplash, or lift an object which is too heavy – can tear or fray these cable-like structures.  These injuries set up a healing process called inflammation to repair the injured ligament.  You know this process is happening when you feel the pain, heat, note swelling, and cannot move the injured joint." Heread the last part of a leaflet thingy.
"Amelia if the healing process is completely successful, then the ligaments will be returned to their normal strength and length, and you can return to your normal activities.  If this healing process does not completely work, the ligaments may heal stretched.  This "stretched out" ligament will lead to a situation which can cause pain and discomfort with movement" he said
"Thanks Andy." Mum said whilst he put my arm in a sling.
"Keep this on for five days please then see a doctor" he said before he left.
"Where's Amelia" Jai said and came running backstage. He ran towards me and picked me up.
"Are you okay" he asked
"It's sore" I said
"You did great though babe" he said then put me down.
"Thanks" I said
"Come on Jai we can't be here" mum said and walked away with Jai.
"Girlies the judges are choosing winners now so we have to wait here for a few minutes" Olivia said as my team walked back in.
"Amelia are you okay" Reagan said running over to me
"I will be" I laughed
"Amelia" Pearl said running over to me
"Hello darling" I said and she sat herself on my knee.
"Did you like my dance" she asked
"Yes you were amazing Pearl" I told her.
We just sat and talked for ages before we had to go for awards. We held our partners hands as we walked on stage. We sat at the front again and Pearl sat in front of me. We had to wait for a while so I just spoke with Lacey next to me. The bitchy team arrived and they gave us a dirty look.
"Please stop looking your scaring the little ones" I told them.
"Your ugly I don't know what your on about" she laughed
"I think you need to look in the mirror love and do you have a boyfriend here supporting you no" I said
"You don't" she said
"I told you before you absolute mong" I laughed
"Really were is he" she asked
"There now do you remember" I said and pointed at him.
"He's fit" she said
"To fit for you you couldn't pull a blind person" I laughed.
"Leave her alone screb" Beau shouted and that shut her up.
"Time for awards we are going to go from youngest to oldest" The woman said walking on stage. It got up to the little ones age and they did solos first. A little boy came third.
"In second place is Isla Rena from Glenroy Divas" she said and we all cheered as she got her trophy and sash.
"And in first place is Pearl Brooks from Glenroy Divas" she said and I screamed. My brothers stood up and cheered for her and she smiled
"Well done pearly" I told her as she sat down. They went threw third and second for the groups.
"First is Glenroy Divas" she cheered then all our little ones went up and got there trophies and sashes. We sat and waited threw all the other age groups and then it got to ours. She went from fifth to third the I came to second place.
"In second place is Sydney starts" she said and they got there trophies and sashes.
"First place is Glenroy girls with Anaconda" she said and we all screamed and stood up. All my family and Grayson were stood up cheering so I smiled at them. We got our trophies and sashes then sat back down.
"Now we're giving a reward for today's over all winning dance studio and the winner is Glenroy dance academy" we all cheered and stood up again I picked up Pearl and Olivia came and stage to accept the award.
"Well done to my girls today I love you all" she said as she accepted it. The bitchy team didn't even place so I decided to tease them.
"You didn't place aww good luck next time" I said sarcastically. I jumped off stage and went over to my lot.
"Congrats baby girl I knew you would win" mum told me
"Well done darling" Mel said.
"Come here baby" Grayson said so went over and kissed him.
"Love you" I told him
"I love you more" he said. I walked over to Beau and he gave me a hug and held my trophy for me. I gave Luke a hug and he kissed my cheek. Then I went to Jai and he lifted me up.
"Best till last" I said because he looked upset.
"Well done babe you made me proud" he said. Family and friends were allowed back stage after comp so I took them back hand in hand with Grayson. I packed up my stuff whilst they watched me.
"Let's take a photo" Olivia said and I picked up Pearl with my good arm and smiled. Then mum wanted one with my brothers so I stood in the middle of them and they each had there arms around me. Going home from camps I would always go in the car.
"Hey Gina do you mind if you take Grayson I have to get straight to work" Mel said.
"No it's fine I'm sure we can squeeze him in" mum said then Mel left. The boys carried my things to the car and we worked out where we could sit. We decided that Luke would sit in the front and I could squeeze in between Graysons legs because I was tiny. We all got in the car and Beau was sat next to me and Grayson. I leant my head onto his chest and he played with my hair. I got bored half way home so I turned round to face Grayson and kissed him.
"Mum can Gray come back to ours" I asked
"Sure" she said
"Yay" I said then kissed him again but it got a bit heated.
"Not infront of everyone guys" mum laughed
"Sorry" we both said
"Wait Gray is your mum working tonight" mum asked
"Yeah all night I'm supposed to be at my dads but I don't wanna go so I told him I'm staying a mates but I'm just gonna stay at mine" He said as he played with my hair.
"Well you could sleep at ours if you wanted" mum said and I jumped up with excitement
"What he can sleep" I screamed
"If it's okay with you" he said
"It's fine lad" mum said
"Ahhh" I screamed then kissed him.
"Hold on I need to set some rules here" Beau said
"What" I asked
"You to have no sex" Beau said and I burst out laughing
"Beau I'm 13" I laughed
"I was just making sure" he said
The rest of the journey I just leant on Grayson and listened to music. I was uncomfortable because I still had my costume and it was not comfy. We arrived home and Grasyson carried some of my stuff and the boys carried the rest. I took Grayson into my room and he sat down.
"You rooms tiny" he laughed
"Well the youngest gets the smallest in this house" I laughed
"Is your arm okay" he asked
"Its still abit sore but I'll have to cope" I sighed.
"What do you wanna do" he asked
"I dunno we can go sit in the front room." I suggested
"Whatever you want baby" he said and I led him it's the living room where all my family was. I sat down and Grayson sat in between my legs so I rested my head on his shoulder.
"You made me proud today Amelia" mum said
"Thanks mum" is smiled
"Your welcome baby" mum said
We sat and watched some soccer what my brothers wanted to watch and Grayskn wanted to aswell. Halfway threw watching it Grayson lent back onto me and I was now playing with his hair.
"Wanna go in my room" I whispered in his ear
"Yeah" He said and I led him back into my room.
"What you doing" mum asked
"Going in my room" I told her
"Oh really" she smirked
"Mum" I shouted.
He sat on my bed and I sat on his knee facing him.
"Did I ever tell you how beautiful you were" he said
"Yes you do and your gorgeous" I told him
"I love you som fucking much babe" he told
"I love you to Gray" I told him then we kissed. It got a bit heated and he was now lied down and I was straddling him but we again got interrupted bye Luke walking in.
"Amel... Wow ear mum says teas ready" Luke said then rushed out. I got off Grayson and took him into the Kitchen with me.
"What were you doing" mum smirked
"Nothing" I lied
"Well that didn't look like nothing" Luke said
"Shut up Luke" I said then slapped him. We sat down and I sat next to Gray and Jai.
"So what were you doing" Beau smirked
"Nothing Beau shut up" I shouted
"Aw come on tell us" Beau said
"No cause it was nothing" I lied
"Luke tell us" Beau said
"Luke don.." I tried to say but he interrupted me
"They were about to get in onnnn" Luke laughed
"No we weren't" I shouted and Grayson laughed
"Grayson were you" Jai asked getting worried
"No it was just a kiss" Grayson reassured him
"I don't call Amelia straddling you a kiss" Luke laughed
"If we was about to 'get it on' then we would be naked" I shouted
"You were about to" Luke lied
"No I wasn't Luke shit your fucking mouth" I screamed
"Hey watch your mouth" mum shouted
"Sorry but he was lying" I said
"Well what really happened" mum asked
"I sat on his knee and we kissed then he fell back that's all" I said
"Really" Luke laughed
"Boys stop" mum shouted.
After tea we sat in the front room for a while the boys wanted to watch a action film thingy so I got a chance to go on my phone. I checked my Instagram first and my dance teacher put the team picture on from before saying: Proud of my girlies won overall 💜 Then I checked Mums and she had put a video of me getting my trophy saying: She carried on with and injury and got first there's no stopping this girl. The I checked Each of my brothers and they had all put the same photo on of us all.
Luke put: Another win, well done gorgeous
Beau put: Brooks photo today at Amelia's comp she came first again #proudbigbrother
Jai put: My baby did it again well done today Amelia
I put a photo on snapchat of Grayson because Grayson was sat in between my legs again I put: Sleeping mine tonight love him💙
I was so glad he was getting along with my brother more so Beau but I wasn't surprised because Beau could make friends with a tree. Jai looked a little upset so I texted him

I text him the last text and he looked at me but I just walked out and went to speak to mum.
"Mums he's starting again" I sighed
"Who Jai" she asked looking up from her laptop
"Yeah look" I said and showed her the texts
"Just leave him I'll talk to him" mum said so I walked out but I wanted to go to bed.
"Baby I'm going to bed" I told Grayson
"I'll join you" he said and carried me into my room. He chucked me one of his tops and I got changed in the bathroom whilst he got changed in my room. He only slept in his underwear which was a plus because damn he was hot! I jumped in bed and he cuddled me by the waist.
"Night beautiful" he whispered in my ear
"Night gorgeous" I told him

I think that's the longest chapter I've wrote!
