Chapter 5

Later in the night, I heard knocking on my bedroom door. I got up to open it and I giggled. V was on the opposite end of the door holding the blanket and the pillow. He looked soooooo adorable. "Aww did you have a night mare?" I asked pinching his blushing cheeks. "Yeah." He replied like a baby and that made me giggle. He came in and sat on a chair. I looked at the clock and it was midnight. I sat on my bed and he looked at me pouting. "Fine." I pulled out a mattress from under my bed and put it on the floor next to mine.

He eagerly waited for me to put the sheet on it. Once I did, he went over to it and lay down on it. "Good night V." "Good night Irene." I fell asleep waking up 6 hours later. V was still sleeping and I got ready for school. I put on my uniform and made waffles(Lego My Ego *sing song*). My mom always goes to work at 5:30 am so I had to make breakfast. I still couldn't believe that in three days, I was really close friends with V. I was eating and V came downstairs. He stretched and yawned, "I smell syrup." I giggled and gave him the last pieces of the waffle. "It's a good thing I had my uniform in my backpack." He said and went up to change.

"V lets go!" I yelled and he came downstairs putting on his backpack. "Is it raining again?" He asked looking at the window. "Oh yeah. I'll be back I have to put on my sweater." I went upstairs. "Irene lets go!" He called and I laughed. "C'mon alien." We left and headed to school. "Hey look it's the nerd!!! Hold my books will you? She's a HUMAN BOOKSHELF!!!" Everyone came running to me with handfuls of books. "I think I broke my spine." I joked trying to keep the mood happy. "Here let me help you." "You have a reputation as a cool guy. I'm just a nerd." I said and tried to get up.

"I don't care about a stupid reputation. Now give me your hand." He held out his hand and the whole building went silent. I gave him my hand and all you could hear were the books falling to the floor. We walked through the silent hallway to the gym. The bell rang signaling first period is starting. We changed into our PE clothes and sat down. "TODAY MY MINI SOLDIERS ARE CLIMBING THE ROPE!!!" Our PE teacher always screams in our ears and I'm surprised we aren't deaf.

(V POV)
"TODAY MY MINI SOLDIERS ARE CLIMBING THE ROPE!!!" Does he think we are exercise toys? We always do something different everyday, never working on the same topic. We lined up to climb the ropes and Irene was all the way in the back while I was near the front. I got out of the line and went to where she was. "That rope is big....... VERY BIG. I'm going to fail and everyone's going to laugh at me more than they already do and---" I put my hand on her shoulder and she was breathing heavily. "Calm down. Just don't think about, ok? You'll be fine."

She smiled and started to take deep breaths. We stared at the rope and watched the people who were climbing. "YOU THINK YOU CAN MAKE IT!? YOU CANT EVEN WALK TO THE CAR TWO FEET AWAY!!!" (This teacher.........psh BYE! -A/N) he scares me. He can be harsh, mean, or rude. And trust me you don't want to see his ugly side.......it still gives me nightmares.

-Time Skip-
We were next. We were also the last people so more attention was brought to us. "V!!! YOURE NEXT!" I looked back at Irene who was giving me thumbs up. I held onto the rope and started to climb it. I slipped and almost fell off. I heard quite whispers from below me, "c'mon you can do it." I looked down and saw Irene crossing her fingers. I smiled and continued climbing up. I rang the bell and climbed down.

Irene was looking at me then the rope. "You can do this." She gulped and turned around. "Nope I'm not doing this I'm n---HEY!" I picked her up and walked to the rope. "Put me down!" Ooh I'm clever. "Ok. Now you have to climb it." I set her down on the mat and put her hands on the rope. "It's easy. Pretend Coach Boomer is chasing you for the mile." He blew the whistle and she climbed the rope so fast that after three seconds, she rang the bell. Everyone cheered. "One problem. How do I get down?"

I chuckled, "Just climb down!" I said and she started climbing down. "YOU ALL PASSED! EXCEPT FOR BOB, CAUSE BOB IS A LOSER!" He laughed and Bob cried. (A/N-It's ok Bob.) The bell rang and we went to change. "At least we got a passing grade." She said and went to math class.
