"Robyn. Robyn. Robyn, time to wake up." I groaned as I rolled over, opening my eyes to see Brittany stood in the doorway.
"What time is it?" I croaked. Brittany smiled.
"3:00 am." I looked at her, shocked. "What's wrong? Don't you remember what's happening today?" I thought carefully for a second. I shot up from the bed, beaming.
"WE'RE GOING TO NEW YORK!" I screamed.
"Shh!" Brittany giggled. "I know you're excited but everyone else is still sleeping."I sighed as I followed her downstairs, remembering last night. We'd told Dad that Brittany was taking us on a 'treat' trip to New York. He reluctantly gave in, and the only goodbyes we'd shared were a quick hug and a kiss. He already seemed pretty suspicious, so I didn't press him for anymore than that.

"Are you sure you haven't forgot anything?" I nodded. Smiling, me and Brittany walked the car. I started lifting my suitcase into the trunk when I suddenly remembered something.
"Wait - I forgot something!" Brittany laughed, rolling her eyes.I ran up the stairs and into my room. I reached on top of my cupboard and grabbed my headphones. As I was walking out of my room, I felt someone bump into me.
"Noah!" I whined, picking up my headphones that had dropped to the floor. "What are you even doing up at this time? It's 3:45 am."
"Sorry," Noah sighed. "I never said goodbye properly." I smiled and hugged him. After a while, we parted and I heard little feet pattern over. "Bye-bye, Wobyn." Kane said, rubbing his eyes. I hugged him for a moment before watching him toddled off back to bed. Me and Noah chuckled lightly before standing in silence for a few seconds.
"Well," I said, breaking the silence. "I'd best be going. Don't want to be late for my flight." I smiled and Noah smiled back at me.
"Have a good time," I nodded. "And good luck."****************************
I ran down the drive, headphones in my pocket and into the passenger seat.
"Sorry I took so long - I said goodbye to Noah and Kayne again." I buckled in and Brittany started the engine.
"Ready?" She asked. I nodded.
"Off to Di's house!" I shouted triumphantly. With that, we set off.
