"I want to take you out today, Taeil." Jihoon rolled over, pulling the covers off of himself as he arose from his long slumber.
Slowly opening my eyes, stretching, I looked up at Jihoon. "Pardon?"
"I want to take you out. It's supposed to rain or thunder and I want to go to this special place."
"Special place?" I was so confused. Was it a place only Jihoon knew about that he wanted to show me?
Jumping back onto the bed, he pounced onto me; pulling me into a warm cuddle. "Yep. It's very special. I need you to wait here while I get everything ready. Is that okay? You could even look for honeymoon locations?"
"Okay." What on earth was he planning?
As he left the room, I opened up my laptop and  began looking at possible locations. Macau? Nope...been that before. Paris? Nope. That too cliché. I must have been looking for a good half an hour before I found the perfect place. London. I'd never been to England before and I'd always wanted to go and it was the perfect place for Jihoon! The lights, the shopping, the West End! Jihoon would love it!!! After booking the tickets for Thursday, Jihoon popped his head through the door.
"Everything is ready, my sweet." Gleaming at me, he ushered me through. "You don't need to worry about getting changed. Just stay in your pyjamas." He walked behind me as I stood up and put his hands over my eyes.
"Jihoon?" Now I was even more confused.
"Don't worry. I'm going to lead you. Now start walking forwards, okay?" He gave me a gentle push as he lead me through the small apartment. "Now open you eyes."
I pulled his hands away, wrapping them around my waist and opened my eyes. What I saw, I couldn't believe...Jihoon had made a blanket fort with a picnic inside. There were lots of pillows and blankets in the fort and our band's home movies playing on the big screen. "J-Jihoon...This is perfect...So this is the special place?"
Jihoon gave me a loving smile as he kissed my cheek. "I didn't want to go out for a meal as I know you get panicky around crowds...so I thought of something more you...more closer to home."
"This is truly perfect, Pyo Jihoon...Thank you." Feeling my eyes begin to tear up, I ran into his chest and hugged him like a small child hugging his dad. I couldn't believe how much I had always needed this man to be by my side.
That day we spent together snuggled under the blanket fort in a mount of pillows and blankets. We fed each other, watched horror movies, cried over memories we've had together and with the band, and discussed the honeymoon. Luckily, Jihoon was excited for it. He was explaining to me how tense he was getting over being able to go to all of the well known shops like Selfridge's. This honeymoon was going to be perfect...just like my husband.
