Chapter Sixteen - Sweet Kisses Home

The next morning we went on our little romantic walk along the Thames before we left to go to the airport. At the same time I was excited to see the band...but I was also upset that we'd have to leave such a beautiful city.
"Yah! Taeil...I have something to ask you." Jihoon took both of my hands and looked me in the eyes.
"Hmm? Mhmm. Of course. " I looked up at the taller maknae; inquisitively.
Leaning down to my level; he leant down and whispered into my ear. "Can I kiss you, Taeil?"
As I felt my cheeks burn a bright red; I couldn't help but pull his lips to meet mine. The kiss was long and gentle. I never wanted it to end...but after about three minutes Jihoonie pulled away. "I-...I'm sorry...I couldn't help myself an-"
The next thing I knew Jihoon's lips were planted back onto mine and he had wrapped me in his coat to keep me warm. "Taei...you're so perfect. Thank you for marrying me..." Pulling away; Jihoon pulled me into his warm embrace once again.
Kissing in public was not really advisable in Korea. Public displays of affection aren't part of the culture. Since we're in England with a different culture surrounding us...I guess Jihoon wanted to express how much he loved me by stepping outside of his comfort zone. He really was a sweet guy when you got to know him. He was obviously a diva at times, especially with fashion, but he was more than I could've ever asked for. I loved him and nothing was going to change that. Ever.
After about three hours, we travelled back to the hotel to collect our belongings and set off to the airport. It was about an hour drive to the airport - but that didn't matter because I was by Jihoon's side. That's more that I could've imagined in the past year. I didn't think Jihoon and I would ever come this far together...but we have and...now I can finally be happy.
