It was the day of Jihoon's wedding. Everyone was excited...except for me. Obviously. Why would I be excited for my crushes wedding?! Especially as I was best man. I should be the one marrying him...Not her. She's evil and only using him for his money. I hate her.
"Taeil!" Jihoon greeted me as I entered the church. Opening out his arms, I walked into his warm embrace. I didn't want to let go. I didn't want to let him go.
"Jihoon...congratulations...for later." I mumbled, trying to hold in my tears.
Hesitating slightly, he began to speak. "Th-thanks...hyung."
Just as he finished talking, the guests started filling the seats of the church. It was almost suffocating: seeing how many guests there were. Especially when it came to her family. I felt sick. I was going to see the love of my life get married before my eyes. My heart was nearly already ripping out of my chest. I was shaking like a leaf; trying to not attract any attention as I began to have a panic attack.
"It's going to be okay..." Jihoon whispered as he grabbed my hand. "Don't worry...I know it's hard for you...But in the end...it'll all turn out okay..."
As he squeezed my hand, I began to feel the weight of the world lift from my shoulders. It was the fact Jihoon said it was going to be okay...I knew it was going to be. That was one of the things I loved most about Jihoon. No matter how hard or easy the situation or circumstances, he always kept his word. He never failed anyone. He was truthful to himself and others. He was confident, funny, childlike, cute, amazing...basically, he was perfect.
Everyone suddenly stood up and Chae Hee entered wearing her white dress. It was very princess-like. You could tell she was a snob. She thought she was a bloody princess. I had to resist the urge to punch her in the face. Although it wasn't easy, I had to do it for Jihoon.
The priest began to read the vows from the bible or whatever book he had in his hand. I was too distracted by my emotions to take any notice of what was being said. "Does anyone in this church today object to the legal marriage of Pyo Jihoon and Choi Chae Hee?"
Stepping forward and raising a hand, a familiar voice spoke up. "I do."
