Just then a black truck pulled up. Everyone looked at the truck not knowing who was inside. Just then the window rolled down and a head popped out the driver seat "if yall don't get y'all black asses in this damn truck" Kenneth beamed at the boys who now ran to the truck. They breathed a sigh of relief seeing it was only Kenneth and Carter. Ms. Jordan exchanged words with Kenneth then got in her car and parted ways. Looking in the mirror at the boys in the back Kenneth spoke up "what the hell were y'all thinking? What it something would've happened to you guys?" he turned around facing them as they stopped at a red light. "Look Ken, we are so sorry. We just wanted to hang out like regular kids" Jacob answered for the boys. Kenneth understood because they were always working hard and rarely got to go out like teens there age do. "Look all I'm saying is next time let us know where y'all going instead of running out of Chipotle like people who don't have money to pay" Kenneth said driving off as the boys shared a laugh.

"I dont wanna hear it!" Ms.Jordan said for the 3rd time as she parked in her driveway. "You were being sneaky and with some damn boys! Mindful behavior-" Skyler cut her mom off. "Its Mindless Mom, Mindless Behavior" she corrected her. Deandra tried to hide her laugh. "Mindful, Mindless Whatever! Your Behavior tonight was certainly Mindless!" Ms.Jordan spoke as they walked into the house. "You lucky I'm allowing Deandra to still spend the night, I can't believe you Skyler" Ms.Jordan put her hand up stopping her daughter from replying. "I don't know what got into you cause this is definitely not the Skyler I know. Just because that Rocky Rolly boy is your boyfriend don't mean you're grown. Just like I allow y'all to be together I can take yall apart. Get your act right before you get smacked right." And with that Skyler's mom trailed off to her room. "well that went well" Skyler said to Deandra. "Oh and you're grounded!" Spoke too soon!
