"What the hell was that?!" I looked around but no one was there. "Show yourself." I said, frightened. Out of the shadows- literally- out of the shadows, came a.....shadow? I mean, i know im half vampire and half witch, but man, this is weird. "Who, or what, are you?" I asked the shadow, both interested and frightened. It was like a regular shadow, but it was deep crimson, and it had a 3d form. "I am the darkness in your heart." he replied. It somehow made sense. He had a familiar feeling, like he was part of me. "Y-you're a part of me?" I had to make sure I heard him right. "That's what I said." He replied, a hint of boredom in his voice. "I came here to warn you." He said suddenly, his voice completely serious. "Warn me about what?" I asked him. This really isn't my day. "They're coming." He replies. "Soon they will know you're alive, and they will come for us." I did not like how this was going. "What do I do?" I ask, sure that I'd get an answer. "Remember our family's teachings." He says, starting to vanish "And we'll be fine."
