I had just got my lunch and was making my way to the abandoned nurse's office when I heard a girl scream, which was sharply cut off, like she was hit or smothered. I was going to move on, but I happened to turn around and see her. She was obviously scared of me, as she should be, but at this moment she was more scared of the guy dragging her. The guy, I knew him as Jake from the football team, grabbed her wrist hard, making her cry out in pain. She then looks at me, her eyes begging for my help. I set my bag down on the floor beside me. "Hey." I said, getting Jakes attention. "What do you want, punk?" was his reply. "Let the girl go. now." I said slowly, putting as much malace in my voice as I could. "What if I don't want to?" he says with a smirk on his face. "What are you gonna do about it?" I say nothing, just start walking toward him. When I get close enough to him I say, "If you want to keep all the bones in your body intact, I suggest you let-her-go." I waited about two seconds before I grab him by the throat and throw him down the hall, and out of the window. We were on the first floor, so he wouldn't be hurt too bad. The girl slumps down, using the wall for support. She had multiple bruises on her body. "Did he do this?" the girl, her name is Lucy, doesn't answer for a few seconds, and then nods slowly, her eyes to the floor. I pick her up slowly and start walking down the hall. She seems to get what I'm about to do and starts to plead for me not to kill him. I reassure her that he's going to live, which calms her down a bit. I step through the window, where people have gathered, wondering what happened. A girl pushes her way through the crowd and runs up to us. I instantly go on the defensive, but Lucy tells me it's alright. "That's a friend of mine." She says, which makes me relax. "Can you stand?" I ask her. "Y-yes." She replies, finally aware of our position. "Thank you." She says as she goes to meet her friend. "Now." I say to myself. "Time to deal with the other issue." I walk over to Jake, who is finally conscious, and say "you have twenty words to explain the bruises, and if I don't like your explanation, you won't see tomorrow. You'll see the next day, but not tomorrow. Now start talking."
