CHAPTER 10

The next day there was a new subject going around. Pretty much everyone in my grade saw what i did to Jake. Now, people fear me. I didn't mind. It just lessens the chance of someone talking to me. The days pass by like normal, except the day the school found out about my clan being wiped out. Those bastards had the nerve to announce it for the school to know. Never been more embarrassed. I've never liked being center of attention. Well, at least they didn't say what i am. That would have been horrible. Anyway, I decided one day to go outside and eat lunch. It was warm and had a good breeze, so I was like "might as well" and went out. There was a beautiful tree out there that I simply loved. It had a wide trunk, a large shadow area, and dark red leaves. It was like the tree was put there for me. I sat under it and began eating. Next thing I know, I feel a presence near me, so I look up. This girl is standing in front of me. She is normal height, maybe 5'8", hazel eyes, a bit tan, long legs, nice face. She looked pretty good. "Can I help you?" I ask. Does she not know who I am? She's probably a new student. "U-um Hi, I'm new here." she replies. I was totally right. "What do you need with me, New Girl?" I ask, skeptical and slightly annoyed. "W-well you seemed nice, so I was wondering if you could show me around." She stated, slightly nervous. I laughed softly at this clueless female and stood up. "What's so funny?" Her response kind of shocked me. The nervousness in her voice was gone, replaced by great self confidence. It made me respect her a little. "Nothing, New Girl. I'll show you around, but before we go, introductions need to be made." I tell her. "My name is Yukihino, what's yours?" "Evangelene." She says. "But you can call me evy"
