CHAPTER 16

When I woke up, my head was on something soft and something was going through my hair soothingly. I opened my eyes and realized my head was in someone's lap. I look up and Evy is looking at me and smiling. Her eyes, however, were laced with concern. I realized she had seen me cry in my sleep. I wanted to move, but for some reason I didn't. I just layed there while Evy kept running her fingers through my hair. We stayed like that for a while, then she finally asked what I knew she would. "Who is Onee-sama?" I explained that she was my real half sister. My mom had her before she met my dad and after they got married I was born. She was four years older and was the one who took care of me when I was having problems that was over my parents head. I'm a half vampire, half witch mix, which my parents soon found out was a bad mix. While I was very powerful, I had horrible anger issues. Onee-sama was always there when I got out of hand, and I loved her dearly for it. I also told Evy how she disappeared the night my clan was attacked. Evy listened quietly while I talked, then changed the subject and asked who the girls in the picture I was holding were. The one to my left was my sister. The girl to my right was my best friend-our best friend. Her name is Yuko Tsukino. She is a werewolf, but her brother is half demon, half werewolf. When we were kids we used to play together all the time. Then a few years ago they stopped coming over. I still don't know what exactly happened to them, or if they're still alive. As I was telling Eve about Yuko and Yuzuki, I heard a knock at the door. I went to open it and was greeted by a familiar scent. When I opened the door, there was a young girl and an older guy standing there. As I look at them, I start noticing the small things that made them unmistakable. "Yuko~chan, Yuzuki~san! I was just talking about you! Come on in.
