Chapter 5

Aaliyah

Last night was the worst night I could have ever had in my whole life. I was stuck next to Alejandro for the whole night with him whispering in my ear every two minutes about how boring this is and that we should both leave together and do something else. I could feel his every breath the whole night as he was so close to me and the most annoying thing was that I had to sit there and take it all or I would risk being punished by my parents later on. I was on my last straw when it was finally at long last time for him to go after 3 horrendous hours of us all sitting round the dinner table.

I was walking into the cafe at lunch time again today when I saw Sally sitting by herself waving to me.

"Hey Sally where's...." I trailed off as Sally pointed over into the corner where I saw Tara with her hands all over Hayden!

"What the heck!" I screamed in my head as I marched towards Tara and Alejandro.

"Stay away from her Alejandro she is not interested." I exclaimed while trying to pull Tara away.

"What are you doing Aaliyah! Let me go!" She said pulling away back over to Alejandro.

"Tara what are you doing with him?"

"What I'm doing with him ?"

"Him has a name and its Alejandro plus he is my boyfriend"  She said looking back up at him like she was a princess and he her prince.

"Wait since when ?" I questioned.

"Since yesterday Aaliyah. He was only flirting with you in order to get closer to me "

"Tara what is wrong with you !"

"Nothing is wrong with me. I have just been able to see things more clearly lately." She said turning away with Hayden's arm around her. She left me standing there. Standing all alone.

I was so mad with Alejandro and the way she has just turned on me. I'm still in shock how could she do this to me !! I thought as I walked up the path to my house as I felt a hand touch my shoulder. I spun round as fast as lightning. Stood straight in front of me was that jerk with a big massive, cocky grin on his face as per usual.

"What do u want !" I growled.

"Don't wanna see your fav boy today." He grinned with a mocking tone in his voice.

"Get lost Alejandro !"

"Make me." He said coming right up to me face with that smile still on his face.

" Em ......." I mumbled lost for words.

"Oh look at the little tough girl lost for words." His low laugh filled the air.

I was fuming I gave him and glare just before I whipped round and slammed the door in his face.

"What's wrong honey was it a bad day at school today." My mum asked the minute I came in with a concerned look on her face.

"No mum !" I snapped at her not meaning to.

I stormed up to my room and throwing myself down on my bed going through all of the events that has happened today. How I may or may not have lost my best friend to some jerk. How she may not want to speak to me ever again. The thoughts kept going round and round my head like a tornado. Maybe I can go over and see Tara and apologise and maybe we will be ok I thought. I finally built up the courage to go round to Tara's. I walked up to her front door and took a massive deep breath before knocking on the door. I waited for what seemed like eternity going over and over again in my head what I was going to say when I saw a shadow come to open the door through the glass. As the door finally opened my jaw dropped I didn't expect that thing to be on the other side of the door.......
