You smile at me,
And you wave goodbye,
The look in your eyes,
Says to let go,
But my heart's a mess,
And my life's a wreck,
You are all I have,
And I don't want to let go,
But the look in your eyes,
Says it's time for goodbye,
And I know I have to let you go,
My heart may break,
And I'll want to hide,
I'll cry out my pain,
And wish to die,
But for you,
I will let go,
And say goodbye,
For you are my friend,
Were my friend,
And I put you first,
So this is goodbye...
