In PE class,
We are graded,
Not by how we try,
Or how hard we work,
But how fit you are,
And seeing the low scores,
Implying you are fat,
Just adds to my stress,
Adds to my urge to skip dinner,
I'm going to cut out the foods,
And eat a banana and apple,
And a little milk too,
At our school,
I'll skip many dinners,
Get even thinner,
I'll weigh less than I do,
I'll be a whole new me,
I'll get more than a 15 out of 50,
I'll get a thirty,
Maybe forty,
I'll strive for perfection,
All because if my PE class,
And their stupid rules,
That add to my stress,
And confirm my fears,
So thank you PE,
You really are a help,
To some,
But not for me.
