Yelling

The yells from outside,
My safe little haven,
Make me curl up,
And cry up to heaven,
For them to please stop,
And talk it out please,
For yelling won't fix,
A damn thing,
The throwing of chairs,
And grabbing of arms,
Scares me to,
Cry out the fear,
And the way they yell,
The way they curse,
Causes me to want to flee,
My father and brother,
Shouldn't be this way,
They should be having fun,
And playing a game,
But instead they are telling,
Cursing until they are dry,
Not even thinking,
About the girl in her room,
Crying away,
Wishing that the yelling,
Would just go away.
