I woke up 10 minutes before my alarm clock this morning. I just laid there smiling. I cannot believe what happened between Zack and I. I can't wait to tell my friends. They would be so happy for me.
I'm usually not a morning person, but I'm wide awake, and I can't wait to go to school.

***************

I pack my lunch, grab my homework and stuff it In my backpack and head out the door. I spot Tyler already on his way to school. "Tyler!" I run to him. He turns around and waits for me to catch up. "Hi." I say. He does a little 'sup nod' and we walk together. "Well aren't you in a happy mood." He says noticing my big grin on my face and how I am skipping instead of walking.
"Oh. Yeah. Just a little happy that's all." I say, and look down. I wait for him to ask why, and when he doesn't I tell him anyway. "ZACK AND I KISSED." I screech so loud my almost deaf neighbor looks over from her rocking chair.
"Really? O.M.G! That's amaze balls! Give me the deats." He says in a sarcastic girlish voice. "Ha ha. Very funny." I pout.
"Does that mean that I don't owe you anymore?" He asks. I pause for a second. "I guess so. I almost forgot that with out you this never would have happened!" I smile and give him a big hug. He groans, but doesn't push me off. "All is forgiven."
I hug him for a few more seconds before a car horn beeps at us. I turn around to find a purple convertible bug stop right next to us.
I quickly punch Tyler in the shoulder. "Slug bug purple, no hit backs."
"Ow. Really?" He says rubbing his shoulder.
The purple bug contains Britney and her little minions that follow her everywhere.
"Cora!" She says sweetly. Did you forget what I told you just last Saturday?" She makes a pouty face. "Um Britney why don't you take your purple bug and 'bug' someone else." I laugh at my clever come back. Well I thought it was clever. She stares at me blankly. "Do you want me to ruin your entire high school life? Cuz I can do that." She does another one of her fake smiles.
I laugh at her. "You think your so-" she drives off before I can come up with another clever comeback.
Tyler and I both laugh at what just happened. "I don't know why she hates my guts so much." I tell him. He just laughs. "She thinks I'm trying to steal you from her. Like I would ever want you." I laugh harder. "Oh, come one everyone wants this." He points at himself with two proud thumbs.
I laugh again. "No way!" I say. "Oh come on. If you didn't have a stupid crush on 'what's its face' you would probably be drooling over me like the rest of the school is." He say. "No way. Your not my type." I stick up my nose. "Oh. So you have a type? And I'm not it?" He narrows an eyebrow. "No. You are a bad boy type. I like more of a person I can trust and a person who is willing to give everyone a chance, and who-" he interrupts me. "I don't care what your type is." He cringes at my sappy words.
"You wanted to know why I wasn't your type, and I told you." I cross my arms.
"Well I still think you would of have the hots for me." He mimics my crossed arms. "In fact I think you have the hots for me anyways. That is in fact why Britney pushed you in the pool, isn't it?" He grins.
I begin to laugh again. And I shove him playfully and he pretends to fall in a pool.

This is how we have fun I guess. We usually only talk when we're walking to or from school. Well. I'm glad Tyler almost killed me with his monster truck that day, we would have never become friends, I would never had gotten the boy of my dreams.

I spot my friends at the corner we always meet up at and I wave excitedly. "Hi. I have big news to tell you." I run to them. I can't wait to tell them about Zack. I see Tyler cross the street before he gets caught up in girl talk.

TYLERS POV
-------------------

I rush over to the other side of the street before I am involved with the girl gossip. I am now walking alone, listening only a little bit in Cora telling her friends about her kiss with Zack. Gross. I don't even know what she sees in that guy. And what she doesn't see in me. Not that I care that she doesn't like me like that. I just like the idea that everyone drools over me. But knowing the fact that if I were to like her she wouldn't feel the same. But I don't like her so it doesn't matter. I mean she isn't bad looking. She is kind of hot, but she isn't my type either. I like girls who are... Well I don't know what kind of girls I like. I just go for all of them as long as there hot, and willing. I wonder if she really wouldn't date me if we're to ask. Well I don't date so, but she would definitely say yes if I were to ask.
...
Wait a second... Why am I even thinking about this. I'm turning into a girl just hanging around that chick. No guy like me should have  a brainstorm on a girl like her. Well there is nothing wrong with her she is just- stop it mental self. No more random Cora thoughts. I look over at the giggling girls surrounding Cora. I smile a little bit. Cora is telling every last detail about her Sunday night with Zack. Guys don't share their deep thoughts on a girl and how it felt.
Once again, I am so glad I am not a girl.
