-TYLER'S POV-
The loud music is starting to give me a headache. I make my way to the back yard. I'm glad I had Cora throw this party. I honestly thought she wasn't going to do it. She proved me wrong. It makes me wonder what else I have predicted wrong about her.
When I get outside I see that it is much quieter out here then in the house. Almost too quiet.
I look for Cora. I see a big group of people doing who knows what. I look away from the group but something catches my eye causing me to look back over to the crowd. I see Cora run from the group. This causes my curiosity to grow. What were they doing? They better not be hurting her.
I find myself almost running over to the crowd. I push my way through the circle of people to find Britney in the middle smirking, along with Zack who looks like he just saw a ghost, and Izzy who's face is mad red and seems like at any second steam is going to start blasting out of her ears.
" What's going on over here? What happened to Cora?" I look at the three of them waiting for one of them to say something.
I look over at Britney still with a scary evil grin on her pathetic face. "Britney! What did you do to her?" I go straight for the most suspected to hurt Cora.
"Don't look at me. I'm innocent." She puts her hands up in surrender.
"Pfft. Barley." Izzy mumbles.
"Is someone going to tell me what happened, or do I have to play this game the hard way." I threaten.
Izzy looks really mad but she manages to say something. " Well little miss "innocent" here is most definitely not innocent. But she's not alone on this one. Her and Pretty boy over here have been messing around, if you know what I mean."
I look over at Zack who is now looking at me like 'why should you care about Cora anyways'.
That made even more mad. I bring my arm back and swing. My fist lands on his jaw forcefully. He lands on the ground and the crowd goes "Ooooooooh."
His mouth is now bleeding.
Britney says exactly what Zack was thinking. "Why do you even care?"
I don't know how to answer that. I just do. After spending the time I have with her, I find new things about her that always makes me want to know more. She is very different from anyone I have ever met. I don't normally hang out with girls long. But Cora, I don't feel like she is just another one of my hookups. Well she wouldn't even be in that category, since we didn't hook up. She's like a friend.
"She is a great person. And has more personality then you ever will. She is the innocent one here. She doesn't deserve this."
She is more than a friend. Words can't explain. It's better than words.
"Look. I messed up. I really do like Cora. She has to be one of the coolest girls I have been with. She is different. From everyone. I really wish I could go back and fix this." Zack says standing up.
"Well you can't. Now I'm going to fix it." I push him back on the ground.
I go in the direction I saw Cora run off to. Izzy follows me. So do some of her other friends. Then Zack's group of friends. "What are you guys doing?" I ask stopping. And see more people follow.
"Your right. Cora is a great person. We all think so." A guys named Dan says from Zack's group and technically I'm in that group.
"Yeah. She is nice to be around. She is a favorite around this school for her personality. And right now she needs us to be around for her." A random person in the crowd says.
" definitely. Someone like her does not need to be alone on this one. She needs all the people she can get on her side. And that looks like everyone here." Another person says.
"This is why I don't date guys. Because of those kind of guys." Izzy says pointing at Zack on the ground alone.
"Ok. Now that we have your little speeches are done. Can we look for Cora now?" I say.
"LETS GO FIND CORA THE INCREDIBLE!!!" Izzy screams and points forward as we march out way to the street.
***************
We have been searching everywhere for Cora. We are scattered all around town looking for one girl. Once one of us find her we contact everyone.
I'm in a group of three. Izzy, Dan and I.
"We have been searching for half an hour, we have at least half of the school looking for her, and it's 2 in the morning. We still haven't found her. She's gone forever." Izzy complains.
I check my phone again for any new messages from the others. None.
I wonder what it feels like when your heart is broken? Has she ever had her heart broken? Probably the closest she has come to a broken heart is when she saw the X on willow. She was really sad.
It takes a second for my brain to catch on. WILLOW! She has to be by that tree. I know her.
Why didn't I thing of this sooner?
I remember her telling me that no one knows about her tree.
"Hey you guys should check to see if she went to her house yet. Maybe she just got there." I say.
"But we just checked there." Izzy complained. "Well check again. I'm going to check down this road over here. It will go faster this way." I run off before they try to stop me.
She has to be here. Has to. If she isn't I don't know where else she could be. I find the entrance to the over grown empty lot where her tree is.
I let a deep breath.
