~NORMAL POV~
After Lucy had splashed Erza's face with water, they alighted her car and drove off to the school. The lights were off, except for a few bulbs and street lights. Contradictory to Erza's previous thoughts, none of the doors were locked, with the obvious exception of the Principal's Office. Lucy sneakily made her way through the dimly-lit hallways, with Erza nervously following behind. "Lucy, we're going to get caught!" She whispered.
"No, we're not. Trust me, we're only a few hallways away from the library."
"This is a bad idea!"
"Well, do you want to find out what's going on with Skullette and Haos or do you?"
Erza bit her lip. "Oh, fine! But we've got to hurry, someone might find us!"
They continued on their way. Before Lucy made any turns, she cautiously scoped out the area in case of any late-working janitors or teachers. Finally, she was able to catch a glimpse of a wooden door labeled with big bold letters: "LIBRARY". Lucy said, "There it is, Erza! The library, come on!" They sped up their pace and once they were in front of the door, Lucy slowly and carefully opened it. CREEAAK!!
They slowly slinked into the library and Erza closed the door behind them. Lucy was now speaking in her normal voice. "Alright student body president, where's that School Book?"
"W-What do you mean 'where's that School Book'?! You're the one who should be showing me that book!"
"You're the student body president, I just knew of the book, I don't know of its exact location in this maze!"
"But you're the one who mentioned it in the first place!"
Erza groaned and facepalmed. "Argh! That's it, we're never going to find that book!"
"Not true! W-We can start searching in the References! I bet that's where we'll find it!"
Erza sighed as Lucy grabbed her hand and they sped off to the References section. Even though Lucy had an idea where the school book was, that particular section wasn't exactly small enough to make the job easy. Lucy suggested, "Uhm...You take the left side, I take the right?" Erza shrugged like she didn't care. "Remember, there are more reference books on the other side. We should look there too after we're done here." Erza reminded. Lucy nodded obediently and proceeded to scan the bookshelves on the right side.
Lucy ran her fingers across the books, carefully examining each. "Hm...Tsk, all these are all books on academics! The English Lanuage, Realistic Mathematics, Values Education..." Suddenly she spotted a book with this on the side: "Sc---- Book". Some of the letters were completely covered with dust. For a moment she thought that it was the School Book.
Lucy blew the dirt away, only to find something that made her frown in discouragement. "Science Book". She mumbled in frustration, "Stupid Science..." Then strongly pushed the book back into the shelf, causing it to shake and dust to fly everywhere. Lucy fanned the air and coughed, and sneezed. Once the dust had settled down, Lucy angrily stomped her feet. "AAARRRGGHHHH!!"
Meanwhile, Erza wasn't having much luck either. She sighed. "Soccer for Dummies, Swimming 101, Basketball Frenzy...These are all sports books!" Erza continued to browse the books in the shelves, but only found books on sports such as badminton, golf, and hockey. Just when she was about to give up, she found a book without a title. Curiousity spiked up as Erza took the book out of the shelf and opened it. She read the first page.
