~ERZA'S POV~
I crossed my arms as Jellal sat down across the table I was at. "What do you want, Jellal?"
"Sheesh, no need to be so huffy. So what are you doing here at the far end of the cafeteria, hm?"
"Just shut up and tell me what you want."
"A tour."
"A tour?" I said.
"Yeah. I wanted Lucy to give me a tour but she told me she had other plans. And since you're student body president..."
I sighed. "Why can't you ask Mira to give you a tour?"
"Hm? Mira? You mean that white-haired girl?"
I nodded. "Yeah."
"Well do you see her around?"
I stretched my head to get a better view of the cafeteria. I didn't see Mira anywhere, no matter how far I look. I sighed in dismay. "Can't you just give yourself a tour?"
"And how do you propose I do that?"
"Just walk around! That's basically all you do in a tour anyway!"
"I walk around, I get lost, I get reprimanded for accidentally skipping class, I say it was your fault for not giving me a tour, and you say goodbye to the luxury of being student body president."
Damn, this guy was persistent. "Well...you put up a persuasive argument, Jellal. Fine. I'll give you a tour."
"Sweet. Let's go then." He started to stand up and I rolled my eyes as I did the same. "Where do we start, Mrs. Strawberry?"
"Stop calling me that!"
He chuckled and my face was practically redder than my hair. No, I wasn't blushing. I was red because of my anger. First I brought Jellal to the library. Porlyusica-san gave us a smile as she typed on a computer behind the counter. "Can I help you, Erza?"
"I'm just giving Jellal here a tour, Porylusica. Don't mind us."
She nodded and continued to work. I motioned for Jellal to follow me. "C'mon...We have a very big library and I have to show you all the book sections."
"Yeah, I noticed that..." He said, peering between the book shelves.
We walked through what seemed like a maze. "So...This is where you'll find the fiction...And here are the non-fiction books...And here's the reference section. You can come here when you have some research projects."
"Cool. So, where to next, Mrs. Strawberry?"
"Drop the nickname or I'll leave you here in the library and you won't be able to find your way back, trust me."
Jellal chuckled and raised his hands as a sign of peace.
I took a deep breath to relax my nerves and we proceeded with our tour. I could barely stand being with this joker. When we were done, it was time for swimming class. I looked at my watch. "I hope you brought your swimming trunks."
"Eh? Swimming trunks? For what?"
I started to walk towards the Girls' Locker Room and Jellal followed. "For swimming class with Aquarius-sensei."
"Swimming class? I didn't know there was a swimming class, no one told me!"
"Boo-hoo. You can borrow some trunks from Gray, he always has a spare."
"Gray? Fullbuster?"
"Yes, Gray Fullbuster, there's no other Gray in our school."
"Well, where can I find him?" I entered the Girls' Locker Room and turned to him.
I poked my head out to meet his gaze. "He's probably in the Boys' Locker Room. And you're not allowed in here, so...Bye!" With that I slammed the door shut and set my bag down on the bench. I walked over to my locker, entered the code, and took out my black two-piece swimsuit. It was decorated with white stars. I scanned the room in case anyone was secretly spying on me. Believe me, you don't want anyone seeing you naked.
Once I had ensured that no one was there except me, I quickly started to change into my swimsuit before the others went in. Once I was done, I stashed my uniform in my bag and put my back against the wall beside the door. Seconds later, a crowd of girls burst in and they all rushed to get changed. I smiled and secretly sneaked my way out. While I was walking, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I slightly flinched. "Oh! Lucy, it's just you..."
She was wearing her white bikini again, and she looked like she was trying to catch her breath. "Hi, Erza! I saw you go out of the locker room so I decided to follow you before I got trampled alive."
I giggled. "That's why I sneaked out."
Since the pool was near the locker room, no one saw us in our swimsuits. When we arrived, the boys were already there, shirtless. I took one look at Jellal and my eyes widened. Has me always been this...muscular? Bad Erza! Bad Erza! Jellal is nothing but charismatic! Without thinking, I slapped myself right across the face. Lucy backed up a little. "Um...Erza, are you okay?"
I saw that she was dangerously close to the edge of the pool. "Lucy, watch out!" I pointed to the pool.
She turned around to see, but it only made her fall. She screamed.
~JELLAL'S POV~
I heard a series of catcalls and cheers. I looked to where they were and I felt my face go red. Crimson red. When I saw her. Her swimsuit hugged her curves in all the right places and exposed her cleavage, her stomach. Lucy looked so hot in her swimsuit I thought I would lose all my blood in a nosebleed right there. Before I embarrassed myself, I turned away and hid my face. Gray nudged me. "Who you staring at, Jellal? Erza or Lucy?"
I stammered, L-L-Lu...cy..."
"Yeah, she's way more sexier than Erza. The guys always whistle when Lucy comes during swimming class."
Then I heard a scream. I turned to the two girls once again, and I found Lucy falling into the pool. Before her body made contact with the water, I lunged at her with cat-like speed and grabbed her arm. Instinctive, she grabbed my hand and slowly stepped away from the pool. She stared at me, and I stared at her back. She finally broke the awkward silence. "Um...Thank you, Jellal..."
I slowly let go of her arm and forced a small smile. "It was nothing. Don't mention it..." I started to sit down again.
I gulped as Lucy took her spot beside me, while Erza was stuck next to Natsu. Pretty soon the other girls arrived and they all sat down. Aquarius-sensei said, "Alright, today, were going to be working in pairs! Each pair will have a race and whoever wins between the two gets an A+! Losers...get a C." Everyone groaned, I just shrugged. "In case of a draw, both of you will be getting a B." Lucy clapped her hands in excitement. "Alright! I'm definitely getting an A+ on this one!"
I just gave her a small smile. Aquarius-sensei announced the first pair. "Okay, first up is Erza Scarlet, and..." My small grew wider. Mrs. Strawberry, huh? "...Natsu Dragneel!" Immediately Natsu began scratching the back of his head. "I am so screwed..."
I watched as Erza and Natsu positioned themselves. Aquarius-sensei blew her whistle and they dove in. They kept on swimming until they reached the end. As expected, Erza finished the race before her opponent did. She climbed out of the pool with a smile and swished her dripping hair around. I rolled my eyes. The last thing I need is her having a crush on me.
A smile grew on Aquarius-sensei's lips. "Good job, Miss Scarlet. A+ for you. Natsu, you get a C. Well, I guess that's a step-up since you usually get an F." Natsu just skulked off and sat back down. Aquarius-sensei cleared her throat and switched her attention back to the list. "Okay, next on the list...Uhm...Lucy Heartfilia and our new student, Jellal Fernandes."
