~JELLAL'S POV~
I was at the park. Erza took me there. I thought it was her idea of a date, but then all of a sudden, she left. I was alone in the middle of the night.
But then I heard footsteps...I saw a figure of a woman emerging from the distance...My eyes widened.
There she was.
She was standing in front of me.
Jane was right there...
Is this real?
Am I dreaming again?...
Then, looking up to face me with a smug smile, she spoke.
"It's been a long time...Jellal-nii-chan."
I couldn't take it anymore. I cried. Right there. Then I hugged her. I familiarized myself with her faint autumn scent once again. I was already having trouble breathing from all my tears.
"...Jane..."
I felt her wrap her arms around me tight. Teardrops dripped on my shoulder and she sniffled. "Hi, brother...I-I missed you...So damned much..."
I pulled away and kissed her on the cheeks, the nose, the forehead. "Oh my Mavis, I...I love you so much...I've been broken ever since we were separated, Jane."
She chuckled tearfully from the kisses.
I couldn't have been any happier at that moment.
After I got Jane settled in with me, I immediately went over to Erza's apartment. I didn't bother to knock and instantly entered to find her sitting on the bed, reading a book.
Upon seeing me, she set the book down and stood up. I walked over to her, cupped her cheeks, and kissed her for a brief moment.
"Oh god, I love you..."
"Jellal, w-what are you doing here?" She stammered. She looked so submissive and innocent...I liked it.
"I'm wanted to see and thank my girlfriend for being the best thing that's ever happened to me..."
Her eyes widened. "Girlfriend?"
I chuckled and pulled her by the waist, pressing our bodies together. "Yes. Girlfriend. You're mine, Erza." Once again, I captured her lips in mine aggressively. "Mm..."
My eyes fluttered close as I felt her kiss back, her arms snaking around my neck and sending chills down my spine.
The rest of the night was a flurry of intimacy on the bed and a tangle of legs.
~THE NEXT DAY ; ERZA'S POV~
After Jellal stopped by his place to check on Jane, we went to school together, hands intertwined and memories of last night still fresh.
We didn't do anything too...erotic...I mean, yeah, I ended up half naked and he was shirtless, but we just kissed.
The first thing he did when we entered the classroom was thank everyone who helped reunite him with his sister.
I smiled warmly and hugged him before Lucy approached us with a sincere look on her face.
"Erza? Jellal?" She was fiddling with her hands nervously.
"Yes, Lucy?" Turning to her, I responded in a gentle tone.
"I-I wanted to apologize again. I acted horrible. I was such a selfish flirt even when Jellal wasn't my boyfriend."
Jellal grinned. "Eh. It's alright, Lucy. Everything's fine now. And anyway, you helped me get my sister back. So thank you."
A smile formed on her lips.
I smirked mischievously as I leaned in toward her to whisper something. "You still have Natsu."
She blushed a deep red as Jellal and I laughed and sat down in our usual seats.
"Baby?"
I gave him a weird look. "Baby? Did you just call me baby?"
He laughed. "I've always wanted to."
I rolled my eyes, grinning. "Pft. What is it?"
"Nothing," He shrugged simply and leaned in for a sweet but quick kiss.
"Boy, you sure are addicted to kisses."
"Only your kisses."
"Yeah, I could see that with the way you acted last night."
I chuckled upon seeing his embarrassed face. "H-Hey! You were kissing back!"
"But you were a lot more aggressive than me in the bed."
Still blushing profusely, he brushed it off. "Psh..."
"So, how's Jane? Has she been doing okay?" I inquired, changing the subject.
"Yeah, she's adjusting well. And she likes you."
"She does?...I thought she hated me."
He chuckled softly. "That's just how she is. Jane's a very peculiar person, but when you get to know her, she can be cheerful and even sort of girly at times."
"Much like her brother, I see."
He nudged my arm playfully and I giggled.
"Love you though." I whispered quickly as the teacher walked in.
"Love you more," He whispered back.
~TIMESKIP: LUNCH~
After Jelly and I ate our lunch, we still had fifteen minutes left until the next class, so I decided to grab a few books from my locker.
As I was closing it, a group of students came by, waving a copy of that day's newspaper at us. "Erza! Jellal! Congrats!"
They handed the copy to us with a broad grin, leaving us confused. "Eh? For what?"
"Well, don't tell me you haven't read the first page! Even the teachers and Principal Mavis want to congratulate you!"
Jellal and I glanced at the headline and I covered my immediately reddened face. "Scarlet and Fernandes Dating: CONFIRMED!"
I peeked out shyly to see Jellal giving everyone a thumbs up, smiling proudly and swinging his arm over my shoulder. I simply hid my face in his chest as he laughed and kissed my hair.
