"So you're deciding if you want to work for him but not me!" Exclaimed Liam outraged, Oliver chuckled throwing a pack of cookies in my buggy. "I don't want to work with you, you'll just give my special privileges and more money than your last assistant" he shrugged.

"SO! Is it so wrong to give my dear sister her fair share of the company!" James grabbed floral red pillows and threw them into my buggy. Nixon began to eat chips "I don't want my share" he sighed, I followed his lead.

I was suppose to be house shopping on my own but instead Liam and the rest of my brothers decided to show up at my apartment door at five o'clock in the morning claiming that they want to help. I quickly dressed not wanting them to see my living conditions. I haven't showed them the instead of my apartment in the last seven years that I've been in New York, I didn't want them to make a big deal over feeling wallpaper, rats and dirty. . .well. . .everything.

"Why?" I hummed "I don't know, maybe because I don't want money but if your so dead set on giving me it then set up a bank account only I and you guys can assess. Just in case I get in a car accident or mugged, then I'd have money to lean on for the medical bills" Liam smiled as if that was the best idea "deal."

The apartment I lived in was much too different from the actual rooms. Each floor had a different design, the first was dark and mysterious which made you think you are on the back side of New York, which you are. The second floor is red and old fashioned, light fixtures and all. The third is purple and the same old fashioned style as the second, the fourth is orange and creepy and the last floor, the fifth, is mine. Green, peeling and rundown.

The apartment rooms are somewhat of the opposite, each has a certain style, each unique. Mine was the last left, large, yes, but it is rundown and filthy too.

Talking three cans of paint, boxes of decorations and new knick-knacks I put them all in the middle of the room. I didn't have much furniture, just an old green smelling couch, a worn out brown coffee table and a red out of the place rug. All of my furniture fits in one small space which leaves another half of the room empty. That would change if I excepted Mr. Sterlings job offer.

Although the green paint peeling off the wall gave my apartment a nice old fashioned look to it, I wanted to paint some of the walls to get some color in my life. I started off with the deep red paint and painted one wall of my hallway, I didn't want to touch my living room or kitchen and instead went for the bedrooms and bathrooms. After painting what I thought would look good in red, gold-ish yellow and salmon I added taped black stencils to the wall and painted over them with black. When they dried I took the plastic off and looked at my master piece.

I made all of my favorite quotes and sayings no on the wall across from my bed and all of the book names I've read on the wall behind my bed. The black brought the light pink color and brought a smile to my face, the windows let sunlight shine down on my work. I, for one, have read hundreds of books so the names easily filled up the wall.

Putting the finishing touches on my room I fell onto my bed and closed my eyes. I didn't want to do anything else today, as of right now all I wanted to do was eat as much junk food I can and hope that in the morning, I'd have enough money for gas.

Author's Note:

I found out what I want to do!!!!!! I'm going to give you guys a rewriting tip because 35% of you guys write stories but don't know how to make it your own. The other 45% make story but is too cliché and another 20% make stories but the grammar sucks -no offense.

So, Lesson of the day:

1) Restrain from using 'as' a lot in your books.

Some of you might not know it but you tend to use 'as' a lot and it makes your book sound. . . .childish.

Example:

'Maria walked to the store as Josh followed as he got the feeling she is in danger'

If you tend to use 'as' stop writing and think. Everyone has a word they use to much, mine is 'granted' and 'because' which can get annoying when writing a book. No one wants to see those two words in ever sentence, so, when you see yourself doing that or slipping into that habit, stop!

Use other words like: because, if, he, and etc. . .even use a comma if all else fails.

Example:

'Maria walked to the store, Josh followed because he got the feeling she was in danger'

Tip:

Don't rush writing, it comes naturally and I know some of you have good ideas for the beginning and end but not what happens in between. That's okay, close your eyes and listen to the type of music that goes with your book. You'll find your inspiration and if you don't, don't force yourself to write.

I know when I shouldn't be writing a book because my fingers get stiff and cold which prevents me from writing. It's a sign to me that the book shouldn't be made as of right then, you guys might have a sign too so listen for that. Write the first chapter or two then stop if you can't go any further and wait until you get more inspiration.

That's all I got for right now, I might give some more tips in the next chapter but remember, I'm not a professional so I do still tend to make mistakes.
